Sir, I believe that your words have meant more to Australians as what you have said is echoed throughout the Commonwealth and the whole world and you are right that Australians are resilient and will come back stronger and you know Australians better than most as no only being the son of our Lady Sovereign, The Queen but as someone who spent one term boarding at Geelong Grammar School and that link is strong and heartfelt love and empathy. Sir in my opinion, you will make a fine sovereign for this country and the other realms and the overseas territories as well a fine head of our beautiful Commonwealth. To the people of the Commonwealth Of Australia on behalf of your cousins in Britain but I also believe your cousins across the Tasman and your cousins in Canada would echo the same thoughts and prayers that I feel. We share a bond that has stood the test of times from the days of colonial Australia to the early federation of the Dominion Of The Commonwealth Of Australia to now, we share a rather unique relationship of banter when it comes to cricket, rugby league or union as well in the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics but we also share a common link that has outlived the reign of countless Presidents, Prime Ministers in both our respective countries, Secretary Generals Of The UN and that is our Lady Sovereign, Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and of her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith along with Prince Phillip.

This is a very genuine, deeply sincere and heartfelt message Prince Charles has sent to the people of Australia. His concern and compassion is beautifully articulated. One can see the distress he feels. My prayers go to all Australians who have faced this inferno. The devastation they have experienced is shocking. I hope there has been an international effort to help the people and get these fires contained and extinguished.

Everything about HRH Is unique from his style of talking to his dress sense.

Someone here by the name 'my name' left a comment about the queen stepping down as she couldnt be of cognitive ability. Wirh all due respect I have a neighbour of 97 who is of perfect health mentally and physically so I dont think she should be judged on her age but on her ability which I feel is 100percent I have the upmost respect for her and I am.l sure she will take leave when she is good and ready to do so.

Sometimes the royal family get torn about by criticism because of the misconceived silence and inactivity during a crisis, but no one knows exactly what goes on behind the scenes. We have heard today about Elton John donating a large amount of money to assist with the ongoing fight to stop the fire in its tracks, but this doesn’t mean that our royal family haven’t already donated funds. I haven’t always been a supporter of Prince Charles in the past, but when they were highly criticised about their perceived silence after Diana died, I can’t help but feel that any parent, or grandparent, would put the needs of their children first. These were exceptional circumstances because they are the British Royal family, but Prince Charles was first and foremost a father, so was quite right to consider his children and their needs before the needs of the nation.
