The Spanish one turned out to be a swindler who had to abdicate, the British one is far from popular. A referendum in tje UK might force a change. The Greeks will never go back to that rubbish.

That is impossible for lots of reasons. They don't have something more to offer. Also royals in Europe do not govern. They are simply head of state, because of tradition. We don't need something like that in Greece, and we have no tradition with these royals.

Are you going to be proud of them simply because they possibly speak Greek? They don't speak Greek because they know they will never return to the throne. They live their life as every rich young person does. It's ok. Alexia, Pavlos and Nikolaos were raised at a time when the family had hopes of claiming the throne again. I am not sure even If their younger siblings speak Greek.

I'm sorry but I reject your opinion, my friend. If you're really Greek, you learn Greek because you really love it. It comes out physically. It shouldn't be about the throne. And you never know what the future is hiding, as we used to say in Greece. So, in order to honor yourself first( if you're really Greek, I mean) and then your family, you need to love your heritage and learn Greek. I assure you that for the last, at least 15 years, modern Greeks are very proud of the royal family. The royal family should be proud of being Greeks , too.

The Greek constitution doesn't recognize royal - noble titles. They are not even Greek citizens. They have Danish passports. He is not king of Greece whatever anyone says, or who his relatives are. @@isaacmaskey468
