prince has such a dry sense of humor....he'll say something funny but you dont know if its ok to laugh until he gives you that look and it makes you go...ok its ok lol
Only a real man can wear heels and jump around on stage like he did on stage and land perfectly. Some women don't even wear heels, so that says something
I love Stevie Nicks' story. She called him to play keyboards on "Stand Back" because she loved his stuff. He came, didn't talk to anyone, played the amazing synth part on the first take and left as if he was never there. Man was on another level.
Prince literally said “hey I’m prince, *Stares* oh how rude of me I didn’t give y’all enough time to freak out. You may do so” that man is tooooo funny I love him
Prince was like that weird and strange kid that nobody wanted to play with growing up. But as you grow older, you can’t help but learn to understand and respect his rebellious nature!!!!!
I remember seeing a photo of him taking a selfie. When selfies first became a thing. He’s looking at a mirror and using a huge a** Canon camera. Brilliant ❤❤❤
ceylonin he was so hot for his age lol I wish he was still alive after he died I watched Purple Rain and another movie that he was in on TV I cried at the end of Purple Rain and I cried when I found out that he got cremated I thought that it wasn’t fair because there are so many people that want to say bye to him
Nemesis THE TAURUS yep and the voice thing he did was directed at MJ it’s cuz Prince was still upset with MJ over Vanity ..... a story not many ppl know! They made up tho! All of them
Prince , not petty , and not what those photos of him Displayed. Just public relations a totally different Personality, hidden behind those pimp like poses. But he could play his instrument and sing well.
His "mysteriousness " made him the most attractive man that I have ever seen! The way he carried himself made him absolutely the most gorgeous man that I had ever seen. I still totally love him to this day! R I P
He was one magnificent, sexy man! He was so mysterious and kept to himself his whole life. He never wanted to make a scene about his life or music. He will always be one of the greats. I love and miss him so much! 💜💜💜
The main reason Prince was so hard on mainstream pop stars was because they were doing way less and getting all of that success meanwhile he plays multiple instruments and actually creates his music. Prince could play way over 10+ instruments. That's what being a real musician and artist is. He didn't just play guitar. Prince played bass, piano, drums, various percussion instruments. He was the real deal and he hated how cooperate and easy becoming an artist was getting. Even in 2020 he'd have way more to say on the state of music because even from 2016 things have changed. Nowadays you just have to be passable at playing a single instrument to gain success. It has to be pretty annoying to spend your time trying to perfect your instrument playing abilities and perfecting your music making abilities to only get flushed out by people who have others write everything for them. Prince definitely had his success, but he deserved more.
True. A lot of the artists from the 70's, 80's and 90's were actually talented. Nowadays they don't even have to be able to sing due to autotune. And yet.......... still nobody likes Courtney Love.
@Priceless TimelessFlowz that's great ! But compared to Prince I'm sorry but you have a LONG way to go. I also produced , engineered , mix and mastered my own music. But prince could play a ton of instruments, do the choreography, actually sing LIVE etc etc My main point is Prince was ONE of a kind. If you are an aspiring musician/artist I highly recommend digging into all of his work and find as much inspiration as you can. The man was a genius. Just check out Creep live at coachella Or " shhh " live in paris " the ride " live in Vegas " the question of you " live tokyo Watch him as he is on stage hand signing to his band members when to transition. Or when he says " on the one " Seriously , soak up as much as you can from this guy and then use it as inspiration to your music
Very very intelligent, wise and profound man. I have impression Prince knew so much and could be also a philosopher, there is great depth in a way he thought and saw things. Also having very strong personality. I love how he disliked smartphones and social media, with all the wrongness it brought and saw it for what it was, an inhumanity it brought etc. He was truly ahead of time and he didn't want to be a sheep not in this as not in anything.
I went to his concert at Phillips Arena in 2005 Musicology and he did allllllll his hits. His enteraction with us was personal and funny. And he gave everyone a free CD on the way out. BEST CONCERT EVER!!!!!!
Been to 2.....just fantastic....saw Purple Rain concert and been to the ones he did with Chaka Khan and Larry Graham...both of them are great on the guitar❤❤❤❤❤
I got to see him in a very small 300 person venue in Austin, TX at SXSW. After the opening act Prince came on at about 10:30 and played until around 3AM. Most amazing concert I've every been to. Around 1:30AM he said "You want some more, Austin? Because I got a lot of fucking hits!" That concert is honestly one of my best memories ever. Seeing him playing that guitar was magical.
I'm so glad I got to see him in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Running up and down the stage with such energy! He went to Amsterdam by car to do an afterpartyshow and we followed him by train.
Prince didn't say anything about Michael Jackson because in terms of MUSIC, there is a mutual respect. They both made good music and they both knew that. They didn't sing songs dissing each other because it was about the mmussiicccccc
Hate the constant battle over "Who is better". Prince played his instruments on stage. Michael played most instruments but his body was the instrument on stage cos he moved in a way Prince couldn't. BOTH Geniuses, BOTH legends and masters of their own entertainment. #GetOverItPrinceOrMJHaters
@@anndavis2920 I use to share this same exact mindset of yours, when I was living the bachelors life as a single man going from woman to woman until I met the (1) who was worth committing myself too. believe me, I was the world’s biggest critic when it came to slowing myself down for a woman- I’d laugh in your face literally about 10 years back when I was out there in them streets but now...I’m not laughing anymore. Love is... is very serious 💯
@@tribecalledmaya I’ll tell you this much, you could never regret ever having this quote tattooed onto your body. (Because it embodies everything in life we would give our all too)❤️
I love that Prince and Michael Jackson have two totally different senses of humor, and though I love Jackson, I think, no, i do like Prince a lot more when it comes to humor. His voice and straight A T T I T U D E makes him so much easier to laugh at. Love him. Rest In Peace Prince.
@@ingriddubbel8468 The fuck are you talking about? That person didn't say Prince needs to learn a thing or 2 from Michael. They just said it would of been cool if they made a song together.
@@ingriddubbel8468 where did they bash prince? Instead of such insult, start reading shit slowly and aloud..cause that comment was unneeded and unnecessary
Michael and Prince might not be a good public friendship, but we all know they were actually good friends and loved eachother, bc then why did Prince locked himself in a room crying for a week when MJ died, it’s sad we didn’t get to hear a collab
Litty Cartoons; how did he play his self??? i don't think he played himself, after his death, on his watch, WBROTHERS did NOT, get his catalog, did they? PRN, is in a better place, than the fools, he left behind. #prince4ever #ripprince
Prince was truly an Artist and master of his talent. One of the sexiest men in show business, greatest guitarist and put so many other artist on. Hes a great loss in the music world. But forever a legend,One and only Prince.
I don't agree at all. Perhaps by younger generations, but those of us who came up listening to Prince knew he was a master. Not only in his musicianship and song-writing capabilities, but his lyrics were also quite profound. Prince is has been practically a god to Boomers and Gen Xers since his first album.
Prince knew something. I still think there was a lot to what he said...we may never know about all of it. It was really respectful of him to say that about Michael though.
Toni-Ann Stewart main reason je stayed out of the media alot. remember his life time achievement award speech? he said everything he wanted to say was on [at that time] 15 albums
Learned about him from my mom. Still love purple rain and he is a very beautiful man. Man my boyfriend will get jealous if I said that in front of him. 😂😂
@@loriellajames6978 he dated black women, nona gaye, damaris Lewis, tamar davis, I'm sure there was others and he was smitten with Tamara hall and nia long
The man was amazing. That’s all. When he entered the music scene he just moved around and rearranged at least half of everything. After that I heard bits and pieces of what he started from other artists and I knew it wasn’t stealing-it was flat out awe.
He was original, supremely talented, mysterious, funny, intelligent, quirky, & sexy. I am grateful that he has left us his music. So, so sad he is gone. There will NEVER be another like Prince.
Many more are presently awakening to what he was aware and conscious of! Thanks to him and others like him, for example, "George Carlin", "Zappa", "Roger Waters", etc., who tried to enlighten the deliberately dumbed-down masses, and to the real humans of this world, the truth of all things is becoming abundant and all who crave it, who dare to go as deep as they finally can in the rabbit hole, come to see more, so much more, with real eyes they now recognize any real lies! and this, is worth, far more than gold, even precious gold! Not to mention i can still hear my mum: "... never say never!" and the Almighty: "All things are possible"! :-) Love, T
None of them left by their own natural will , they were all murdered. Prince and MJ and so many more. Both for Money and the threat they present to exposing truth to kurrupt power.
I can't believe he's been gone for five years. I can watch this over and over because I always loved Prince, but had no idea he was so funny and a prankster.
Prince was the man and he knew it. No one will ever come close to being as incredible as he was. Even though he’s not with us anymore, he’s still the man.
His sense of humor was so clever & refined that many people never understood it in interview smipets. When he performed live, he didn't only exemplify sexuality - he also exhibited his innate sense of humor. RIP sweet Prince.
