@@kwamegyasi7924 There is a Grand Lodge in Ghana, I believe one of your former presidents is a Grand Master or Past Grand Master. You have to approach the lodge yourself and say you wish to be Mason. The other requirements are that you believe in a Supreme Being (whatever you call it, God, Allah etc is your own business), and that you are of good character. Best wishes.

Well, aside from the fees to join and also to maintain your membership (they are called "dues", I understand, in the USA...I'm an English Mason) which can be several hundred dollars, there is a lot of charity work involved, which naturally involves cash as well as time. To pay your dues would put strain on the family budget, which in turn would cause tension and unease in the family and we do not want that.

@504 HollyGrove 17th ward I know the many histories of Freemasonry. I know that there are also many myths and legends passed down through the ages....all of which hidden behind symbols and allegories. But I am still happy to see Brothers dwelling together in unity.
