Meghan never does anything unless she wants to and working for whatever foundations the Queen or Prince Charles or William would have considered the perfect thing for her do would have been what she wanted. I dint think she understood that she was getting a twofer… both marrying the Prince and becoming a working Royal. She didn’t get the job part at all. She got her mother set up for her clothes, shoes, dresses and purses, but never did she set up her father in LA to get a morning suit for the Wedding or other appropriate Activities surrounding her wedding. She set him up to fail. All these years later she has not seen him, nor has Harry met him. I’m dubious that the children who purport to be theirs are really theirs. But I don’t really care. One more reason for her never to Return to the UK. She did not love Harry when they married, but he didn’t know that. She wanted the titles, the glamour and glitz. She thought big name cocktail parties, fun great yacht trips, people like Elton John and the Clooneys, Oprah (although her reputation has gone down, since she just let Meghan tell her lies about the Royal family endlessly.
I believe he miss the traditions, and probably also his family and friends. But he took a ridiculous choice to please Meghan and it’s starting to cause strain. Of course she doesn’t miss anything, she comes from nothing and wouldn’t know of family values and tradition.

Harry didn’t really have a purpose, and he isn’t the brightest, or most attractive. Funny, he did all of that family bashing, I think mostly for Meghan but you have to understand that she didn't grow up in the life so for her she could care less. To her there isn't enough financial gain for her to want to be part of that. On the other hand, Harry enjoyed visiting the US to party with friends but it's not the life he grew up in. We never see their children, except old photographs online: I've yet to see Archie, and I've seen Lilibet sitting in the grass. There's the family photo that came out one year for Christmas. Other than that, kids are never photographed. 😊

They did it like most family members do - taking off doesn’t mean burning bridges with family, going to Oprah’s show, selling gossip about family to the media etc. They kept close rapport with family to the extent ppl say they were TQ’s favorites. Later they came back to the monarchy and spent good time with HMTQ & Pr Philip in their last years. As it is they’re part of the core-team at a critical point.
