“Meghan has a decent percentage of Nigerian in her, and we’ve said, we’ve sort of like agreed that maybe that percentage should stay in Yorubaland, I don’t know but it’s okay. I can see she’s been well attired and her yellow and yellow aso-oke blends so very well. Today, we are indeed happy for what they are doing, especially for our military men on the conversations around mental issues, mental health issues, mental illness and how they can galvanise their various NGOs and ensuring that people that require those support both in military and private can seek those support and the conversation around mental health issues is also something that we all live around and you know the denial, the stigmatization, is out of that, is one of things that we’ve talked about.”

STORYLINE:
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, met with Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in Nigeria's commercial capital on Sunday.
Harry and Meghan arrived in Lagos earlier in the day after spending two days in Abuja where the couple participated in a sitting volleyball match.
"For Prince Harry, it’s been a very interesting and very informative trip to the country, he’s seen a lot, he’s still soaking in a whole lot," said Sanwo-Olu.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are visiting Nigeria to hold talks about the Invictus Games which Harry founded to aid the rehabilitation of wounded and sick servicemembers and veterans.
Harry served in Afghanistan as an Apache helicopter copilot gunner, after which he founded the Invictus Games in 2014 to offer wounded veterans and servicemembers the challenge of competing in sports events similar to the Paralympics.
Nigeria was among the nations that participated in last year’s edition of the games.
The news of Meghan’s visit excited some in Nigeria where her life - and association with the British royal family - is closely followed.
Meghan has also said in the past that she found out through a genealogy test that she was 43% Nigerian.

The Nigerian military has touted the Invictus Games as one which could help the recovery of thousands of its personnel who have been fighting the homegrown Boko Haram Islamic extremists and their factions since 2009 when they launched an insurgency.
