Charles was wise not to meet with Harry. The Markles would use the meeting to make their Nigerian trip appear to be an official royal tour with the King's backing.

Why do the press not promote that the King, couldn’t see his son because of the events he attended, left him exhausted. He’s still undergoing his chemotherapy. He was only cleared by the doctors in the last week, to start doing a few face to face events. The first event he went to was a visit to a Cancer Hospital, to speak to patients, their relatives and members of staff. He left there and went straight for another round of his chemotherapy, I’m sure by the time he got home that evening, he was well and truly exhausted. The same with the garden party, he had to meetings with other dignitaries in the morning, he went to the garden party in the afternoon and left at 5:00pm , he arrived home to have his weekly meeting with the Prime Minister, he would also have the daily red box to go through, so really the press need to cut him some slack. He’s going through hell with is health and is a man of 75 years of age, not exactly a spring chicken. We all know chemotherapy can knock the stuffing out of someone undergoing, from exhaustion to severe vomiting, lose your appetite etc.. so why do you insist on trying to force the King to see his son. He’s been invited to Balmoral with his family, for the Royals annual holiday period, if the King wants to see him, that would be the ideal opportunity. It’s out of the public eye, he will have security as the king will be there, with other members of the RF. if other Royals do not wish to interact with P H and his family, it can all be arranged that the others can come during the time P H isn’t there. It’s simple and private, secure and can be brought directly from the airport, by helicopter, straight into the grounds of Balmoral Castle. It’s only two or three months until these annual holidays start. It might only be two, I can’t remember when they start. It’s typical media, wanting to stir the pot, to sell their papers and interviews. Or, do the people working in the media, not have any empathy for an elderly King, suffering with cancer. How would you all feel, if it was a member of your own family!

My feeling is that many of us had enough of the constant pity tour of Harry. In my opinion, he ought to have grown up by now & stopped throwing his toys out of his pram. The King and Princess of Wales are still undergoing treatment. Let's hope that those treatments are going well. Let's appreciate and praise the King, Queen, Prince of Wales, Princess Royal, Duke & Dutchess of Edinburgh and all other working royals for pulling together, supporting each other and still carrying out so many engagements despite the current strain they are under. I would really love to see morer reporting on those engagements. They may not all glam & glitzy, but they do matter.

Who is funding this trip?
