Prince Harry revealed he requested a "secret meeting" with King Charles and Prince William during his trip to the UK for Prince Philip's funeral in April 2021.
In his memoir 'Spare', he shared that he wanted to discuss "the state of things" with his father and brother. This was Harry's first visit to England since he and Meghan Markle quit their royal duties and moved to the US with their kids, Archie and Lilibet.
It was also the first family reunion since Harry and Meghan's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, where they spoke about their royal struggles and reasons for leaving.
Harry admitted in his book, published in January 2023, that he felt nervous while waiting for William and Charles to show up for the meeting, even fearing they might ditch him.

David Beckham has managed his career and image very, very well. He has allowed his actions to define him rather than giving interviews/press releases to proclaim his greatness. He humbly and respectfully stood in line with less well known people to pay his respects to the late queen. He appears to be a man of good character. I'm please the King recognizes that and may use him to further his good works.

He must be running out of funds! They used the Archewell foundation like their piggy bank, similarly they milked the invictus funds. Their spending is phenomenal and they have no marketable talents to generate any further revenue. There is a great urgency emanating from Harry to se his father…I wonder whether it’s to secure an advance from his great grandmothers legacy…..in which case he should be cashing up to Princess Anne, since she is the executor…….good luck with that Harry!

Beckham is a fantastic decision for the role! Back in the day in his career in soccer he was hated at one point, but he stood his ground and came back stronger than ever to win. Played till he had to retire. A wife that stood by his side the entire time while sitting in the stands while thousands booed him. But today still stronger then ever and family oriented. He loved and respected the Queen! Stood in line to pay his respects at her passing. Harry is probably jealous and furious over this. I love it because now maybe he sees what loyalty to friends and family mean.

I believe that David Beckham is a great choice to promote the King's Foundation. David Beckham is hard worker, very loyal & has great respect for the Royal family. There will not be a comeback to the royal fold for Harry. That shop sailed a very long time ago. In my personal opinion, the King may forgive him at a personal level, but the British public will not.
