But making an inverted sarcastic compliment, that the cake may have cost £75,000, but Alex's facile fan base would raise and spend more money than that by bidding for his second hand shoes. Back handed compliment to be read as sarcasm or compliment. Or even both. Henry's intelligence is a class act.
