Hosh is a phrase used by the numbers gang(Primarily the 27s) to greet in prison The song itself is about warning people who just call out the numbers 26, 27, 28 for fun. In this video you see the prisoners holding up number 7, meaning they are 27s. Two thumbs mean you're a 26 and 8 means you're a 28. It's worth noting that you just don't become part of the numbers game, often with the 27s, you have to spill blood before you become part of the clan.
