There's a death that you missed. If you don't have enough health in the final encounter, you'll become a shadow, and if Jafar comes back for you, he'll kill you.
Love how a different musical jingle played depending on your method of death. I especially like the jingle at 5:22. That squish sound before getting crushed is hilarious as well! Whoever was in charge of sound and music did a fantastic job.
So, about the lava death... there's a secret hidden animation for the lava death you can get, where you can clearly see the prince's hands try to reach out of the lava with his sword, only for him to sink back in. As a child, this extra animation was way more horrific to me than the original. Can someone find it?
@@Haganeren I just managed to recreate it myself by replaying the game. You stand next to the lava and draw your sword. If you put your sword back (by pressing down) and you fall in the lava right away, you’ll see the poor guy flail his sword out of the lava as he sinks and dies.
3:14 is my favorite. I don't know why Disney decided that flying carpets should be sentient and not prone to operator error, but glad the game punishes you for a stupid assumption like that. You basically drove a car into a wall.
Imagine if snake venom causes prince`s body to instantly turn purple, then after horrible shrieking, explode into huge mass of rotting flesh across entire screen. Just like Mortal Kombat.
The whole mechanic at 6:04 of requiring the player to wait for their shadow to magically come back after the flame burns them up is a bit cruel. How was anyone supposed to figure that out when the normal thing to do there is press any button to respawn?
Seems pretty logical to me dude as you can hear the prince is not a literal knight in shining armor who can slay a whole garisson of guards equipped with literally the same weapon as him besides the goal of the first level is to escape the kingdom and get away from the guards of the vizier who is impersonating the prince and has cursed him and the princess.
It's the DOS version with a Roland MT-32 sound emulator. I got an exe file with spanish translation of the version 1.0 (my native language) from this site: www.abandonsocios.org/index.php?topic=14174.0
Finally someone affirms the unfaithfulness of this game! btw the music sounds way better than any DOS version. Why? is it an edit? which version have that music? Por fín alguien admite lo injusto que es este juego! por cierto, la música suena mucho mejor que en cualquier versión de DOS. Por qué? es un edit? cuál versión es esta?
it really sounds very good. I somehow thing that he is using a individual soundfont to play the ingame music but i have NO IDEA how this is done. I played PoP2 so many times and i wish i knew
if you were GPT-3 I would say do the format you did but catch more scenes (maybe different angles, like with the spikes on the wall), increase the pace and sprinkle some style of this video into it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EShUeudtaFg.html
