Omg the nostalgia 😭😭😭 I feel so damn old now! I remember playing this and Sands of Time when I was a kid. Man, time has flown. Thank you so much! I cant help but shed a tear at the reminder of this! I binged the hell out of these games before Assassin's Creed. How I wish they continued the franchise 😭😭😭 Hell, I would love for them to be remastered for old time sake 😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏

Prince of Persia the two thrones gets an automatic like from me!

Here we go again The OG game is back When I was young, I played this game again and again for hours and hours Good to see it again :)

Man I feel so old. I remember Sands of Time, Warrior Within and then this one like it was yesterday. Even tho all of them were great, I personally liked Warrior Within more for the bloody combat, time traveling on 2 timelines, and the more fun aspect of it. Also Dahaka Chases were pure adrenaline and nightmare inducing. Sadly when I tried to play it again it hasn't aged well but at least I have them in my memory. Thanks for reminding me again how awesome games used to be. No half assed dlcs sold separate, no microtranstions, just fun games made with passion.

This trilogy is AMAZING enjoyed all 3 games. Especially 2 thrones the environment was amazing the soundtrack was calming and engaging. Sands of time bruh I saw that in 2003 on toonami AND WAS AT A LOSS FOR WORDS!!! JUMPING FROM PILLARS AND THEN IF YOU MADE A MISTAKE REWIND TIME?!!!! mind blown! boss soundtrack as well a great adventure. Warriorwithin UGH!!! MY ANGRY TEENAGE YEARS!!!! lol took out all my frustration in that game!! THAT ROCK SOUNDTRACK AMAZING BLASTING IT STILL TO THIS DAY!! But I learned later on that the creator of the franchise wasn't a fan of warrior within that hurt but I understood that wasn't his vision for the game. Forgotten sands could've been better but I enjoyed it. 2008 prince of Persia was amazing sad it didn't do well. And then recently found out there was a game being made in 2012 that got scrapped!! the rendered gameplay looked boss!! ugh why they do us fans like that. PRINCE OF PERSIA REDEMPTION needs to be started!!

This game brings so many memories i remember being like 11 years old and playing this game the vizir was pain in the ass but still i was proud of myself finishing the game and then i restarted the game and played it i finished the game like 5 times good times❤🙂

4:27 to be fair, you did have a proper in the first game and forgotten sands.

I remember being stuck in the giant boss to the point where I asked older kids for help but eventually gave up on that as well and uninstalled it. It took years to find out the game was bugged and the prompts to attack its weak spots weren't showing up. Good times.

This is the kind of game I would stand up clap to with tears in my eyes as it ends

Man after all these years I'm finally replaying this in GOG. Between this and warrior within this is so much better in key aspects. Like how the checkpoints are so much more forgiving and how you can stealth kill and save yourself the time of fighting enemies. Im glad they got the voice actor for the first one back but they still make him too much of an edgelord with this "sand creature" power Love the game and gave me a massive nostalgia trip

First of all, good job for putting these clips together! The Prince had become in my opinion "The sexiest male in gaming" since The Sands of Time, he just had this very princely and slightly spoiled tune that's ever so adorable! While he's out there kicking ass, he would have these conversations with himself that are very private and real from a royal. He jumps in head first to the need of his people, yet he's growing and self-taught at the same time. He appears smaller than most of the enemies, yet he's fearless, intelligent, faithful, undefeated, and bounces right up like the prince that he is...he's my "sexiest male character in gaming", the second would be Commander Sheperd, the ultimate definition of "selfless".

Prince of Persia the two thrones is a great game. I've played many times in my childhood days. Waiting for prince of Persia warrior within all cutscenes from gamer's little playground.

Eh. Two Thrones was a good game, and I think it’s the second best game in the trilogy. But it’s definitely got the weakest story. The narrative is full to the brim with good ideas, but the execution is rather clumsy. Farah and the Vizier don’t really look or act like they did in the first game, so they’re functionally different characters, which defeats the whole purpose of bringing them back. While Warrior Within had some issues when it came to tone, it felt like a natural progression for the prince’s character, and while some of the aesthetic choices and themes felt off, the actual writing was quite good. But in Two Thrones it felt like they had no coherent idea of what the prince’s arc should be this time, and the writing is kind of all over the place. The dialogue is also a bit off. In the first game the main characters talked like real people, and while Warrior Within’s story wasn’t as good as the first game, the dialogue and character interactions still felt authentic for the most part. But in Two Thrones the dialogue just feels very inorganic and awkward, like something from a bad Hollywood screenplay. The only real exception was the Dark Prince and his interactions with the Prince, and even then the dialogue often felt redundant. Overall, Sands of Time was close to perfection, and while WW and TT were both good games, they weren’t quite able to catch lightning in a bottle again. Sands of Time also felt like it was the perfect length and ended where it should, while the other two overstayed their welcome.

I loved this trilogy as a kid... still do. The platforming was a lot of fun, the setting was amazing, moving backwards through time was so surreal and I loved the narrative as well. Listening to the Prince/Kaileena just narrate the events as I played like if it was a tale was something that I ...haven´t seen in many other games.

With an avenging cry, the Prince plunged the weapon to the bared breast of his evil enemy. It pierced his black heart. The wretched creature spiraled to the ground, throwing the Prince to one side. Masonry pieces collapsed to dust around them. The Vizier staggered upright, the Dagger of Time lodged in his chest. The Prince jumped forward and drew out the mystical weapon. A rush of Sand poured from the mortal wound. "This is not what the Dagger promised!" wailed the Vizier. In a hail of noise and confusion his body was blown apart in a shattering burst of light. High on a ledge overhead Farah's bonds were smashed in the explosion. She broke free of her chains, and jumped down. In the streets of the city, Sand Monsters crumbled as their life force was sucked into the air. The freed citizens cheered at their salvation. In glimmering trails the Sands swept to the top of the Tower. Farah and the Prince watched in amazement as they reformed to the ghostly figure of Kaileena, Empress of Time. This benign apparition hovered before them, and spoke softly. "This world was not meant for me. But there are others, and I will find my place, just as you have found yours." She held out her hands, and the Prince stepped forward to place the Dagger of Time into them. Her body shimmered as the Dagger was absorbed in the transparency of golden Sand. The Prince looked to his arm where the barbs of the flail fell away, leaving his body with not so much as a scar. "Be free now, Prince, your journey is at an end." Kaileena turned away. The Sands faded and drifted apart, and all traces were swirled to the winds. Farah and the Prince stood in silent awe. A metal object jingled on the ground. "What is it?" Farah asked. A golden crown lay at the center of the tower floor. The Prince kneeled to see, reflected in its surface as he reached out. A heavy boot trod down. A sinister cowled figure snatched up the crown. "All that is yours is rightfully mine," a voice hissed as the cloak fell away. The Dark Side now held the crown in triumph. "And mine it will be!" He drew back the barbed chain and lashed it to black.

Kaileena truly loved the Prince. He had saved her from herself, from her desperation, anger and hate, and when she felt the "Dark Prince" inside of him, she wanted to return the favor and save him from himself, but to do it, she had to be ruthless and bring the Vizier to Babylon throught the Dagger in order to make the events of the game happen. That's why she parted in the end. First, because she knew there were others like the Vizier, and therefore she could not live in the world of mortals. But I think she also felt guilty for the things she did and did not see herself worthy of the Prince's heart anymore, not like Farah, who brought out the best of him while the Empress, wether it's directly or indirectly, brought out the worst, and she wished the Prince to love and spend his life by the side of someone like the indian princess.

I remember playing the hell out of the trilogy. Never did finish the second one

It’s amazing one little dagger caused all this having to face pirates, evil queens and kings plus the guardians and god of time. If the movies had continued they probably would have had it to were Dastan was created or molded from The Sands of Time and he was always destined to restore order and balance to the world. Oh well I always watch the movie first than FORGOTTEN SANDS, WARRIOR WITHIN and TWO THRONES that is the proper order to watch and enjoy this incredible franchise.
