When colors turns sepia in this game, makes me shit my pants and being always panicked to run away and don't look back. I don't get that feeling in a game anymore that's an action game, not horror, this game is pure DIAMOND
Dahaka is the only game monster that I've ever had a genuine nightmare from, and that was at 16 even, long after I've finished the game. I guess I felt as desperate as the Prince when I was running away from that hulking monster through my old, abandoned school, but I had to jump out of a window and felt like I broke my leg, after which I woke up :/ Anyway, big thumb up to Ubisoft for creating one of the scariest monsters of the video gaming franchise, even though it's not even a horror game.

Something that adds to a game, which is already complete and doesn't feel content-void. Today DLCs add stuff to the game which should be in the game itself. Naughty Dog doesn't do DLC, but when it did, it did it the right way.

Guys, if you take what the Dahaka says and reverse it, it's actual English! For example, at 1:53 the Dahaka said "Disrupt the timeline no further.", but we heard the reverse!
I swear, the way the Prince GASPS when the Dahaka either gets too close, or when he finally gets away after each chase is an EXCELLENT bit of attention to detail.
Wouldn't it have been cool if this game had a random chance of spawning the Dahaka when you're in the present? It would certainly give you the feeling that you're being hunted
+RevReBorn Shadow Though I suppose that it would be hard to pull of on the PS2, though they should definitely do it if they ever make a remake. A very hard edition, with more enemies, less health and random Dahaka spawns, that would be really fucking awesome
+zupergozer The problem with that is that it could end up hindering the player, like what if the player was solving a puzzle but the Dahaka kept spawning and the player couldn't escape.
Lol, if you actually read the credits (I have no life) you can see in the voice actor's section it says the voice actor for the Dahaka is Satan himself. I find that humorous...xD
seriously I laugh when someone says Assassin's creed are better then prince of persia sequel... sure AC is great sequel but it got nothing compared to pop trilogy... Prince of persia SOT is the game that made me fall in love with gaming...
The Dahaka is perhaps one the most scariest monsters in gaming: Not only he is a no nonsense enemy, but also is likable because he is not fully evil, just doing his job. The Dahaka can be accurately described as a punch clock villain, because he is not evil, but just doing his job.

I remember when i first played this game way back in the day, i got so anxious when the Dahaka showed up. After every chase i had to get up and just drink water coz my mouth will be so dry from nervousness. But still love this game💗
Only legends know just how satisfying it was to pull these off flawlessly. To remember which side of the wall to choose to run on, to not repeat swinging on the bars or ropes, to doggedly pick up the damn mit. Everything that game after would always feel like a derivative of this game.
1:14 the first time I played I had no idea where I should go, I was completely in panic ; I ran and jumped... right into the Dahaka's arms. And I was to scared to even think of pressing the rewind button, I figured it still worked even after the Dahaka destroys your body later.

I remember playing this game in psp when I was a kid and man when I saw that screen change colors I entered in a total mlg/rage/scaredB mode damn that moment intensified the whole game for me
i could imagine if the game remake how horror the Dhaka will be. it is most scarier than in og game. i remember when i was a child playing in this at 2014. the fear of dhaka chase still makes my heart beats faster than any i feared. the chase is most scarier and nightmare. i felt in night dreams. most scariest than normal horror movie. longest chase is cataboms and prison chase followed by garden tower, mechanical tower, southern passage and libary. which i ranked the longest and most scariest (those who played for a first time).
It's been so many years, so many times I've played through this part in the first clip, I was a boy when I played it, now I'm a grown man, but still even today Dahaka at 0:18 got me and scared the shit out of me
Everytime Dahaka started to chase me while playing this...It caused Adrenaline rush in my body like i was really there in the game running for my life.. 😁😁 Good old memories..

Everytime I stumbled upon an obstacle and failed to pass it while being chased, I just jumped to death, coz that was how terrified I am back when I'm playing this....
