The longest consort in history. He never outshined her and her strength and stay as she stated through the years. He worked tirelessly throughout his life understanding what duty meant and a wonderful companion to the Queen for over 70 years. The county is mourning a great man. My Condolences to the Queen and entire Royal family. Rest in peace.

To be honest I don’t really pay attention to the royal family. I didn’t know much about them. For the longest time I thought Elizabeth was a widow. I think around 3 years ago that I found out Philip existed. He really stayed in the shadow.

What admirable about Prince Philip is that he was once considered an outsider by the Royal Family but he stood his ground, supported Queen Elizabeth. He was an Alpha Man but he was very comfortable with his manhood, did not mind walking two steps behind the Queen. He was there for his wife.

God bless HRH The Prince Philip. Served his country tirelessly and stepped back to support his wife in leading one of the greatest nations on earth. I've seen people mocking his death and joking about it, but they will never understand what a great man he was. Father hated him, mother was schizophrenic, sister died in a plane crash when he was a teen. Served in World War 2, carried out over 22,000 royal engagements. Rest in peace.
