Prince Rama Varma, accompanied by Sri S.R.Vinu, Nanjil Sri Arul, Trivandrum Sri Rajesh, Thirunakkara Sri Retheesh and Sri Ananthapadmanabhan, present the Western Note by Harikesanallur Muthaiah Bhagavathar,, in this thematic concert of songs by 20th century composers. Varma ji embellishes the rendition with a few stunning and utterly brilliant and charming variations and with the gait that he chooses, we can easily visualize the scene of a castle in Europe where couples are enjoying a session of ballroom dancing! I am sure that the spirit of Muthaiah Bhagavathar would be dancing too, enjoying this sublime and delightful rendition.

Time just froze, sir! The 100 year old tanpura in the hands of AP ji with his million dollar smile; all the 'kindergarten' children 'behaving' in their places! Varma ji gifts us these gems generously; the underlying message always: true (to the paathaantaram) and simple is beautiful! ❤️ Modern day singers, accomplished as they maybe, lose out here, finding it difficult to be simple and true!

Your voice is heard just similar to Sri. Dr. Balamuralikrishna Garu when I close my eyes and listen your rendition. The Sampradaaya of Dr. Balamuralikrishna Garu has reflected in your singing.
