Lived in Chicago for over 50 years live here now. Tried Prince the square pepperoni slice, very good. The best Chicago pizza I have found in Vegas is Amore on Durango. The owner is from Chicago. I highly recommend the cheese and sausage thin crust. In my opinion the closest to Chicago thin crust out here. People always think deep dish is what Chicago is famous for true but that’s more of a north side thing, thin crust is bigger on the south side.
There’s a great hamburger joint next to the pizza place. There’s also some doors right next where you pay for the pizza that has fantastic outdoor seating that’s covered (also no music!. They do have entertainment there. There’s live entertainment everyday. I love that pizza place. Was also going to ask you if you’d visit an off street casino (the Durango) and review a couple of the restaurants there. There’s also a place called The cookie Bar that has amazing one of a kind sweets…..Should also include the prices are really reasonable at all the places there…the meat lovers pizza is awesome.
Absolutely put in a pre heated 450* degree oven for 10 minutes to get the crispier texture you’re looking for. Boston got its fair share of great pizza shops. Dave Portnoy is from the area and hits them all up as you said. He’s since gone nationwide 😂
Where’s the best Filipino food in Vegas? Try: Island Pacific Seafood Market 8650 W Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89147. It’s a grocery store with a buffet inside. Let me know please 🙏.
here you go paying w/ CC again AFTER you made a big deal for Area 15 not taking cash? Is this place CC only? Just asking, I try to tread lightly for I know you can be temperamental!
I use the credit card all the time. I don't tip when I use a card. I used the card. No tip. I tip cash. If I pay cash, I let you keep the change. No cash, no change.
@@RobertMoseley makes sense, for me I like to have a paper trail aka document my purchases over $10 or so and even if I pay with CC I NEVER tip via CC for the amount can be altered! I guess I posed the question on the wrong video for who tips in a food court? I guess there are those that do but the only one who did any real work was the pizza maker/baker? How was it after you got it home and baked it a scooch longer?
" a little cream cleared it up" 🤣"rainbow cake hey" 🤣New Yorker here and I agree! NY pizza isn't really all it's cracked up to be. Good? Yeah but nothing to kill someone over I've had as good, the same, better elsewhere lol
if the pizza dough tastes anything like the bread in Vegas, no it isnt like NYC. the reason why NY, NJ, PA, Conn, Mass and RI pizza is so good is the water we have here. when i was in Vegas i had fresh baked rolls and it wasnt like home. the pizza unless the dough is brought in isnt going to be like home either. 32 dollars for pizza is also crazy. its 15 dollars on the east coast and its wonderful at a mom n pop pizza place.otherwise good video, man.
A lot of places have these water units that replicate the minerals, etc found in NYC water, I'm very skeptical the water has anything to do with the dough result...even more skeptical these machines can replicate the water exactly? Who would have ever thought NY/NJ would be accused of having "good" water?!?!?!
@@raaawkstaaarbecause its not water from NY or NJ its drinking water routed in from a spring in western PA . its why we have world renowned bread, pastries, bagels, pizzas and other foods. the story goes the mafia are responsible for having the water imported. but that is just a story.
4:23 Vegas Escorts? Windiest day since 1985 and everyone is wearing sweaters, hoodies, jackets but these 2 high heel wearing ladies are wearing next to nothing but I'm not hating just curious? I love people watching as much as watching strangers eat! 🤣What do you guys think?
@@someguy2998 I didn't say they were above average, to me they just stood out due to the clothing choices and I know Vegas has a lot of escorts working the casinos!
