I think the Royal Family played this well. They traditionally wish non-working members of the RF a public happy birthday in years ending with zero (30,40,50). If they hadn’t someone would have pointed that out and trashed them. The message was the bare minimum and not exactly loving and forgiving. But well played in that they can’t be trashed for ignoring him, but they didn’t give him what he wants. They are caught between a rock and a hard place, damned if they do and damned if they don’t. We don’t know what they did or didn’t do privately, but I’d bet money that the public message was all H got. My son”s girlfriend has Menieres. She started having symptoms in her 20’s. Pretty scary when those dizzy spells happen out of the blue. She stopped coffee, alcohol, etc. Hereditary … her Dad has it as well. H behaves like he is 4. I have never seen an adult want/need so much birthday attention. The Wales children do not even get media coverage weeks before their birthday. Must have cost him a large sum paying for all the puff pieces and tributes being posted about him.
I've had it for 28 years. I've largely managed to accommodate it (or rather my body has), but one still needs to accept one's limitations, and for me, I have learned that my poor body is working so hard all day on an unconscious level to keep me upright, that I must heed its calls to rest when it tells me. When I get home from work each day, I have something to eat, then I have a nap. Seems to work. The condition is horrible and scary when you first start experiencing symptoms, but eventually, it's sort of liveable with. I still get the occasional 'swoon', but have always managed to stop myself from toppling over. Commiserations to your son's GF and her pa.

However, I am addicted to caffeine ~ I get hideous headaches if I don't get my java or Diet Mt Dew... I will start to get a "funny tingly feeling" in the back of my head, que dizzies, run to the bed and bellyflop down on the bed, like you're holding it down for life - Try to grab Zofran (anti-puke) and meclizine before the pukes start in, often cannot stop without ER ~~ Hideous feeling! Imagine the outcry if they did jot. I feel so sad for King Charles. William, yes, but hes younger and stronger so I dont worry as much for him. Where do you get 80 million, harry is getting only 8.5 million. There is no 80 million. Hell, Megan would be in hog heaven if harry came home with 80 million, she would somehow manage to lay her hands on most of it and kick harry to the curb.
