STORYLINE
Britain's Prince William was presented with his ceremonial pilot's wings by his father Prince Charles on Friday, as he graduated as a military pilot and followed in the footsteps of a host of his royal ancestors.
William's father Prince Charles fixed the traditional insignia badge to his son's left breast at a ceremony at an air force base in Cranwell, eastern England.
The young prince's girlfriend Kate Middleton and his father's wife, Camilla, watched on as William passed out with his fellow graduates.
