Shame SAW dropped their soul artists to go pure pop, this was their best stuff that still stands above most R&B made today, granted they were masters of 80s pop but they had the talent to make much better music.
They were quite funky at one stage,I remember the frenzy when they released roadblock, that was a bangin tune from 87,just before the Kylie-Jason-Sonia era and all the rest of that rubbish(in my humble opinion)
it's After The Love Has Gone (Chief Inspector Remix) - not "DJ BAD MIX" ... :-( ! ++ EDIT ++ ! ... found this version in other vinyls - YOU ARE RIGHT - it IS also called [DJ BAD MIX] - sorry, for my ears, the versions sound equal :-(
Andy, according to my Princess greatest hits collection CD, After The Love Has Gone (which is a bonus track) it clearly states DJ Bad Mix. I didn't make it up, I merely shared it as it appears on the tracklist...
OK ... maybe you're right and Stock, Aitken & Waterman released the track under two different names - I've got the 12" here ( www.discogs.com/de/Princess-After-The-Love-Has-Gone-Chief-Inspector-Remix/release/157657 ) - it's length is 7:57 ... (just analog recorded with Technics SL-1210 MK2 three days before) ... maybe you're right, but I'm sure, if you search for the "Chief Inspector Mix" the results may irritate you ;-)
@@Technics_SL-1210 I commented above about the chief inspector remix.I certainly remember it as that too and i bought this version! As i suggested above perhaps a copyright issue
