Princess Anne appeared emotional as she paid her respects to her late mother Queen Elizabeth II after her oak coffin was driven from Balmoral to the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Sunday.
She should behave like this as a royal member. I would do the same if I were a royal member. Not as one of the billions of ordinary people. That doesn't mean I don't respect and love my mom.
Absolutely ..with her father's.. Mess with me at your peril...Princess Anne would have made the Best Queen ever with the best of everything from both set of Parents.Love and blessings 2 Princess Anne.. husband and their family.
She should have followed her on the throne. That could have given hope to Humanity. With Charles becoming king the rolling out of the en double u o speeds up. God save humanity!
Losing your mother leaves you with a big hole in your heart and in your life. Doesn't matter that you mom was queen or not. She was still you mom. May she rest in peace.
Yes dear I lost my darling mum about 5 years ago. I still dream about her and sometimes think I'll ring her for some advice. Then I remembered that she us gone .bless you darling 😘
You can have the old bags body if you want American. Oh my how did I guess you were American? Hmm that's a hard one, I guess when my mum dies I'll be upset. I just gave you a hint how I figured it out.
Exactly. Plus it'll feel like being an "orphan", so to speak. The first time experiencing not having parents. It's very sad. I feel for her, and for the rest of the Queen's family and friends.
She should behave like this as a royal member. I would do the same if I were a royal member. Not as one of the billions of ordinary people. Ordinary just need to behave ordinarily.......Though that doesn't mean I don't respect and love my mom.
Princess Anne is a class act. She shows all of the most royal qualities perfectly. My heart goes out to her as she mourners her beautiful Queen and mother.
I will never forget that curtsey by Princess Anne. It was an memorable moment full of dignity, respect, and affection for her beloved mother and a greatly admired monarch.
This was deeply moving to me. I lost my mom after taking care of her to a long horrible illness. My mom knew me better than anyone in the world and the loss is extreme. The Princess showed great strength and humility. I am an American and I offer my condolences to all who are grieving the loss. 💔
I took care of my dad for three years the last four months of his was very painful 😢today was a hard day for me because my dad went to a come on this day I lost him four months after 😢😢😢
I also can’t help but feel for Sophie. I’ve heard she and the Queen were very close, and she was wonderful to the Queen after Philips death. You can see the grief on her face too.
I’ve heard the same. She really helped the Queen through her grieving, and she stepped up a lot when the Queen had to stop doing as many royal engagements. I respect her a great deal.
What do you mean 2 years, was the husband of the Queen alive two years ago? Then, why wasn't he the king? I thought her husband had died long ago, so she became the Queen.
@@typingcat No..Elizabeth became the Queen in the early 1950s..her husband Prince Philip was not the King..he was a royal personage from Greece and Denmark..
@@typingcat Queen Elizabeth was crowned 70 years ago. Her husband, prince Philip, was the consort of the queen. The British royal blood was in the Queen’s veins, not in her husband. Her husband was greek royalty.
@@margueritemazzeo2904 If so, I wonder what the family name (surname) of the Queen is. Did it become that of the Greek/Denmark? If so, that would be kind of weird. Or did her husband take her surname? In Korea, there had been only three queens, and that was more than 1000 years ago in only one kingdom. Other than the three, all were male kings. If the king has no son, his nephew or some other male in the royal family became the king, so the surname was always the same throughout the entire kingdom's history, except for that one kingdom that had female queens.
Such a sad day for us all. What a wonder Queen she was served her country for 70 years as she said she would when she was 21. There will never be another. RIP I will always miss her Majesty. 😢
When the Princess Royal curtsied I was very emotional. It's hard enough to loose your parent but to have to do it so in public with the world watching would make it even harder. Princess Anne is a lady through and through and served her mother well.
Seeing the pictures of Princess Anne following in the car break my heart. To lose a loved one, especially one's mother, is difficult enough. To deal with the grief on such a public stage and over the course of so many days shows such strength and devotion.
If you know I Love Lucy, it seems ancient, but Elizabeth II was queen a few months after the show started. She's been around forever and it's weird to think God Save the Queen is no more.
Princess Anne has been delightful to follow over the years. Her dedication to service, kindness, sense of humor, and her accomplishments are wonderful!
Hello, impressed with your profile and personality. I also admire your good sense of humor over here. I don't normally write in the comment section, but I think you deserve this compliment.
She should behave like this as a royal member. I would do the same if I were a royal member. Not as one of the billions of ordinary people. Ordinary just need to behave ordinarily.......Though that doesn't mean I don't respect and love my mom.
@@jrkr7357 maybe if we all behaved like royalty, the world would be a better place. If we all held ourselves to the standards we expect of the royalty, that is.
And following that long drive , all I kept thinking of was she must be needing the loo desperately, I know I would have , but she never showed her own suffering..
Losing both her parents, beloved as there were, in the span of just over a year or so would be difficult for anyone. Anne exemplifies courage and grace just as her late mother.
Long lived close marriages usually end this way.... One beloved spouse dies with the other following close behind rejoining in death. Elizabeth followed her beloved within a year and a few months. Duty and love kept her going but her heart was with Phillip. She has gone to meet him again at last.
@Ernest it's the grief of the moment. At 96 EVERYONE knows that this day would come without a doubt. It's only the unrealistic and intellectually unbalanced will act and think stupidly about this GREAT woman death as a a TRAGEDY. This funeral should be a true JOYOUS CELEBRATION OF LIFE ceremony. With lots and lots of upbeat joyous singing and music. But then... this is Great Britain. Dour.
Everyone has parents and everyone at least 95% of people on the planet will feel the same way. So what is the big deal about her????? Are you people stupid? The queen never worked in her life time and never paid a Penny for the taxes. So what is really big deal about her passing? There are parents who worked all their life time to bring food for their children and yet after passing they have no money to give to their children because of the system and now queen with all that wealth and money and even few countries such as Canada itself is a will to her children and grand children.
@@GeoffsSousChef It was told to the media it was Princess Anne and Charles. It's no doubt Princess Anne was a major comfort to The Queen during these past weeks. Princess Charles, the Queens oldest and heir to the throne, no doubt was there to be support and be with his mother, however, he's waited impatiently to take his place as King in the short time he has left. I don't blame Charles for that, I blame him for ruining Diana's life. He will reap what he sows.
It's a very touching moment. Losing her father and mother two years in a row must be very heartbreaking. Deep condolence, thought and prayers to the Royal family and British people.
I’m not British so I watched the ceremonies out of curiosity for english culture and history, but when I saw her curtsy to her mother my heart cried💔 I felt pain in my chest 💔 Being an only daughter like her I cannot fathom losing my mother . Sometimes I wish I go before her. She’s my mother, sister and best friend . Even if your mother is 96 the pain of losing her is immense .. no matter how old you are . A mother is a irreplaceable figure. May God ease her soul .
Princess Anne's devotion to not just her mother but the institution of the monarchy is beyond reproach. She's the hardest working Royal as well as wife and mother. My deepest condolences.
Total respect for the Princess Royal shes a hard working member of the RF and still doing her duty to the very end. Her curtsy before the Queen’s coffin broke me.
The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, brought tears to my eyes. What a loving tribute to her mother. She is a paragon of what it means to be Royal. God bless her give her peace.
So heartbreaking 💔 to watch. How she curtsey to her mother the Queen one last time. How much love and respect she showed to the very end is to be admired.
I hope Princess Anne reads all of your comments that are so heart wrenching and sincere. She has been so loyal and devoted. I lost my 96 yr old mother this past August. I only wish I had shown her the same reverence, devotion and admiration that Princess Anne showed her mother! Maybe I did in my own way.
Yup… that last curtsy to the monarch even as a daughter… what respect and devotion … brought tears to my eyes. Have you guys seen the interviews she gave as a young princess back in 70’s and 80’s? Very, very witty and humorous even as she was careful in what she said! A true Royal!
She should behave like this as a royal member. I would do the same if I were a royal member. Not as one of the billions of ordinary people. Ordinary just need to behave ordinarily.......Though that doesn't mean I don't respect and love my mom.
I cried when she curtsied at that moment. This has hit me hard and I’ve never even met her. My mother has stage 4 cancer and I lost my grandmother years ago and so this hits home for me.
All of my condolences to the Family !! Princess Ann you did your mother proud with that Awesome curtsy that was Beautiful just like your Mother !! Rest in Peace Queen Elizabeth 🌷🌷🌷
I didn't realise that was Princess Anne. I was wondering who that refined, well-mannered lady was. Now I see. I love her mom too, my favourite royal member.
I’ve always liked Anne out of all the Queen’s children because she’s funny, straight forward and loyal to her mother. She’s always been able to publicly control her emotions like her mum but I could tell seeing her mother’s coffin truly hit her hard but she held it together like the pro she is!
It seems her daughter is very very like her amd very like her grandmother tremendous admiration for her of all the grandchildren she and William....so far.
Princess Royal has proved herself once again, to be a dutiful daughter to her mother, who has served our nation as our Queen for 70 years. God bless Princess Anne for her unwavering devotion. ❤💯
I never realized how much this would be to me. When I watched as Princess Ann curtsied as her Mother's coffin past where she was standing. All of a sudden I have tears rolling down my face. Much love to the Royal family.
@@furkhankhader8875 Have you ever lost to death someone you loved? Your "really" indicates you have not. If you have, your "really" indicates your bitter loneliness...and I pity you.
Anne is truly cut from the same cloth as her mother. Dignified, caring and stoic. What a responsibility to undertake whilst grieving in public. My heart breaks for her and the family. The Queen did her duty to the world and especially her family. Thank you to all the royal family for your service.💕🕊💐🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Chills. Princess Anne is truly Remarkable. I also loved seeing her husband look at her, while she's looking at her mother, you could honestly feel their pain.
@@paulamiles9559 The Princess Royal once commented that she was known as 'The Royal Sheepdog'. She was always the one detailed to keep everyone together whether they be family, politicians or foreign dignitaries. Watch various videos and you can see her circling a room, gathering in the 'wallflowers' and chivviying up the stragglers. She does it so well.
Having lost my dad, and more recently my mum, I can still feel that awful pain when you know they've gone, no more chats together, no more laughs together, just memories... that's all you have now 😢💔😢💔
A Mother is a Mother and will always be a Mother whether she is a simple poor woman or an unforgettable queen, the feeling has no words, it has no kingdom or protocol, the pain will always be the same pain, the pain of losing a Mother! God bless!
I so agree with you im 55 yea4s old lost mum 19 months ago i miss her every single day we use to share a lot like advice she bought up my daughter has always been there for me a mother is the most important pe4son in your life no one can love you more than your mother 😪😪

Can’t agree more, this moved me with tears in my eyes. I lost my mum at age 12, I’m now 50 and I still miss her dearly and forever will. I admire princess Anne more now. God Bless you princess Anne 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Sheep sheep sheep. Easily fooled.. Cycle of a sheep personality... Told to think a certain way by the tv or media - Think a certain way - Repeat what the tv told you to the next sheep 🐑
@@Innatesoulwisdom What a troll you are. I seriously doubt anyone will ever show you that much respect when you pass if you carry that attitude around all your life.
As an American this moved me to tears. I always admired Queen Elizabeth and all her family, as I'm of English/Irish/ Scottish heritage. To see Anne, who is clearly not as strong as she used to be, curtsey so deeply and respectfully in honor of her beloved mother and Queen, was just one more deeply moving part of the funeral planned to honor her one last time. Well done, Princess Anne.
Poor lady, having a title doesn't ease the pain of losing your mother. Anne's hard work goes unnoticed which is a shame but shows you her dedication to her duties. She also is a very on hand's loving grandmother.
Anne has always given selflessly in her devotion to the monarch. I do believe she was the hardest working of the royals. Here you can read the pain and sadness of loss upon her face. This most touching display of love and respect for her mother brought a lump to my throat.
It brought me to tears to see the grief in Princess Anne's face. How wonderful to have a child that is so very devoted to her mother, to her country & to the people of the U.K. God bless Princess Anne.
@@emmanuel8310 It's an open secret in court circles and the elite who the royal person was who was racist to the Duchess of Sussex. Prince Harry diplomatically made the point that it was NOT Prince Phillip. But left the name of the perpetrator unspoken. But everyone knew who he was referring to
As a family this was a immensely private and traumatic time for you all ,thankyou for allowing us to share in and see your grief ,and for allowing us to say our last goodbye to such a wonderful woman ,God bless you all ,❤
