Today's tutorial we will make a custom of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna's mother, Queen Galaxia. We will use Princess Celestia as the body and then custom cast the mane and tail in epoxy resin.

id assume she was just a unicorn. because celestia was called a unicorn when she stepped up to move the sun, and then became an alicorn afterwards.

plushie yeah, that makes a bit of sense. But maybe she became an alicorn before she had the sisters, and that fanfic version of her was her transformed form. Like, you can never find a toy that doesn’t have twilight with wings nowadays, so, I’m guessing that she transformed just like every other alicorn except flurry. (She was the first born an alicorn)

I love the custom! I just had one thing I wanted to ask. Have you ever tried using thin watered down acrylic paint layers instead of just the paint right out of the tube? It hides brushstrokes much better and makes the doll look more neat. Again, I love the pony custom. I just wanted to share a technique.

Just a suggestion, I think that watercolors might have done a better job of making the color graduation seamless, or maybe watering down the acrylics. That way, you could use the natural way water likes to mix to incorporate it into the art. :)

I jst found this channel, and almost instantly think it's really cool. Maybe I could use some tips from here from some of my LPS customs. My favorite one I've made is a three-tailed black kitsune with some white.
