I love how William & Catherine take very good care when taking Georg e and Charlotte out to events they really love, always check in to make sure they are ok with touching Charlotte and William striking her hair. Great parents.

I think it's good that the children are being acclimated to public events as they get older. It will make them less scared of being seen in public and photographed. And, of course, they're making lots of fun memories with their parents by going to sporting events.

I commend this generation of royals. I simply adore Charlotte. She resembles our Queen in so many ways and the way she approaches a stranger, and extended and a smile on her face. I truly believe she was raised right to accept the role in her future.

Princess Lottie has great manners, and you can see her parents easing her into events. She was just watching and waiting for that handshake. So sweet! So we see Prince George at Wimbledon, and now Princess Charlotte here. I’m thinking a couple more years before we see cheeky Prince Louis at an event like this. I can’t wait!

Bike riding, equestrian, soccer, tennis, Princess Charlotte is old enough for swimming lessons, Prince Louis too. All kids love the trampoline at gymnastics.

Kate and Charlotte are both so lovely. The RF has every reason to be proud.

Charlotte look's very pleased to be there & very interested. She appears slightly shy & nervous when being introduced & shaking hands but for one so young she copes really well & her smile is huge, bright & genuine. She looks like any other little girl out & about enjoying the summer with her parent's. William and Kate are doing a brilliant job of teaching their children that these duties although an important part of their lives don't have to always be stuffy & formal, they can have fun, learn something & whereas in days past Royal children were only seen & not heard they can engage with the adults and children around them. Let's hope that unlike their uncle Harry none of these young Windsor's grow up hating the public, hating the monarchy and setting out to destroy it, hopefully William & Kate will allow them as much privacy as possible to grow up away from the cameras whilst also preparing them for the unparalleled attention their parents face from the public & media alike

So lovely to see that William and Catherine are having one on one date times with their children. It’s important for children to be able to spend time with both parents without their siblings with them, as it helps foster a deeper bond, it opens up channels for communication, it allows parents the opportunity to listen and to notice aspect of that child that perhaps get overshadowed due to being a child amongst others. The Cambridges are parents first and foremost and the way they’re introducing their children into the public forum, is with protection yet also with freedom. Taking Charlotte to the Commonwealth Games allows her to see events she is interested in, whilst also respecting the athletes from all of the countries of the Commonwealth, that her great grandmother the Queen, is the Monarchy of. I’m sure Queen Elizabeth II has watched charlottes attendance and was beaming with pride. I love that the Wessex family also attended. Seeing Edward, Sophie, Louise and James was a delight. The loving bond and affection between both the Wessex four and the Cambridge family is very obvious, as Sophie loving hugged all three, Catherine hugging James and Louise. Edward has such a warm fun loving personality and you can tell he enjoys being in the company of the Cambridges. I hope that when Charles is King, that he keeps on Edward and Sophie as senior working royals, and that if Louise or James desire to represent the King of England, that he allows and accommodates them too. We need to have the young ones like Louise and James, because they’ll help with the transition for George Charlotte and Louis.

It's the first time we see Charlotte's hair in two plaits! 🚺She can also wear her hair like that if she does gymnastics. I was six when I had her hairstyle, too.
