God will bless u ma ,am always love your tutorial thank u so much Pls if the burs is 40 what are we going to use for burst span and what are we going to add
Measure the bust span of your client (nipple to nipple). For bust 40", it's usually 8.5" or 9". Divide it by 2 (9/2=4.5). Then add half inch seam allowance. You have 5. So, the bust span for bust 40 is 5.
I really enjoyed your teaching and also learnt 😊 new skills. But you don't show how to achieve the back part 😕, all the same thanks alot. Remain blessed 🙌.
Your tutorial on this topic is very educative. My question on it is that when you are constructing the horizontal measurement you did not use under bust measurement instead you use waist measurement and on the last line you did not mention any circumference pls can you share more light into this.i am a beginner where do we use our under bust measurement . Thank you.
The person we measured for this project actually has the same measurements for both her Underbust and the waist circumference which rarely happens. I forgot to mention that! Use your U/bust msmt in the U/bust region and waist msmt in the waist region pls!
Pls ma I need the video of prince dart without pad and my question on this, is the two inches and the half inch you marked at the under burst line is it for all burst size?
No, I didn't because half an inch has been added to the bust span line(3.5"+0.5=4") and note that 2" seam allowance was used instead of 1". So, we're safe.
Excellent video! Love the fabric! Can you please tell me the purpose of the padding? Is it for a little support or modesty, perhaps? I appreciate all help with princess seams! 😃
No, it doesn't shorten the extension, don't add anything. It has done the work of keeping firm the armholes it meant to do in that arm region of sleeveless dress. Thank you!
The standard bust line or armhole line for adult is between 7-10and half inches. 7 or 7 and half for small size. 8-9 for medium size. 9 and half - 10 and half for plus or large sizes.
Your bust point length is your measurement taken from your shoulder to your Breast point or Nipple. While your Underbust length is your measurement taken from your shoulder to under your bust/Breast. Some people even call this Shoulder to Cut
