My husband met the late Princess Diana. He was on her honour guard during their visit to Canada. The Princess wanted to meet the men who were there to protect. She shook every single hand of the honour guard and thanked them. I always loved her but after that, I was in awe.
If she were here today, I'm sure, she would've hated some of the dresses she wore then. Just like the rest of us, when looking at some old photos of ourselves, and thinking " what possessed me to wear this" She wouldn't be an exception. With time, she was able to figure out what she really liked and what was safe to wear. 😊

It was necessary as a single mother to three children and now to provide for myself. So yes, you are correct. I would not know what it’s like to begin a “full time job” at 73. The burden of a crown must be a heavy one.
