We just explain it away by say they're "touched", "slow", "special", "delayed" or just different. I'm ADHD and had some other obvious issues. I didn't get a diagnoses until I was out of my parents house because according to them, there was nothing wrong with me. 🤷🏽‍♀️. We just have a diff way of handling stuff like this because historically, we didn't have medical access
