The Princess of Wales has had an emotional reunion with her former history teacher after spotting him in the crowd during a visit to Cornwall.
The Princess looked astonished to see Jim Embury, who taught her at St Andrew’s prep school in Pangbourne, Berkshire.
“Oh my goodness”, she cried as she embraced him outside the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, where he works as a volunteer.
The Princess added: “I do recognise you. I remember the classroom and everything.
“Wow. That is such a small world.
“I’m trying to teach my daughter all the things you probably taught me.”
