They are currently making a fanmade story of a continuance of Princess Tutu. The art is the same, a bit rough on the edges at first, but their latest feels close to the anime! There is no voice acting, but there is english subtitles that they added to their story, and it's so damn wonderful! Be patient with them though! Idk if this was intentional, but I like the little detail if you pay attention to Tutu's voice in this part 1:01 She sounds very cheerful and hopeful But if we hear Rue's voice in the same part 2:14 That calm, cold tone hinted that she lost all hope, given up and accepted her fate. The lightings used are slightly different too. In Tutu's part we can see little colourful spectrums, while in Rue's it's black & white.
Yes the hype to this is so high and deserving. Chi chi I can't believe you made an absolute master piece of a song with other singer with the best voice to tell a story through singing. This is definitely my favourite song by far and definitely your second best song you ever made ( your #1 in my opinion is your Kira rap). Not to jump down your throat, but OMG YOU GOT TO CHECK IT OUT IF YOU CAN!!! It’s a great magical girl series, a great series in general. If you like fairy tale stuff, Madoka Magica, or a cleverly written story, please please treat yourself and give it a watch.

Once upon a time, there was a prince. Noble and pure, loved by all. He was set upon by a wicked raven that desired his heart, a heart so full of love that it caused others to hate. The prince could not beat the raven, so instead sealed it away by shattering his heart. By doing so, the prince lost himself. Forgetting himself he came upon 3 individuals. The first was a knight, who knew that if the heart was restored the prince would fight and suffer. The second was a young Raven who fell in love and wanted the prince to love her as no one else could. The third was a duck, who saw the hollowness of the prince and wanted to fill his heart again. The young Raven covered her feathers and disguised herself to get closer, while duck was given a jewel by a traveller, with a power to become the princess that could free his heart. The knight stayed by the prince, protecting the prince as he believed he should wielding the prince’s sword. “Stay away from the prince, healing his heart will only make him suffer!” Claimed the knight. “The prince is mine, he will love me and I will love him!” Challenged the young Raven. The duck could only look on as she was warned that the spell would break if she told the prince her feelings. The 3 clashed, never hearing the mocking laugh from the shadows, “This is wonderful! Now, show me what happens next!”
That was awesome! I watched Princess Tutu years ago and loved it, and rewatched it this last December with my six-year-old niece (who devoured the entire series in a week and then wanted to start over). I'm so glad I found this!
Every since I got into the nerdcore scene ~2 years ago I've been waiting with baited breath for a Princess Tutu song. I've thought a lot about what would make me happy to see, and this literally ticks all the boxes. This feels so authentic to the show, and demonstrates such love for the series. The atmosphere, the lyrical references, weaving all these characters' narratives together and hitting so many central themes of the show...absolutely stunning work. You all did a great job.
