The Prinoth Raptor 100 is a wonderful machine and would be great to own if you had any acreage at all with steep slopes. However, this machine costs over $133,000 dollars which makes it a large landscaping company or equipment rental yard item. The cost of machinery has almost doubled in the last four years. Prior to Covid, the average "hobby farm" or home owner with sizable acreage could reasonably buy many types of machinery. Now, almost every piece of "land engaging" equipment is beyond the average person's reach. I wanted an ASV RT-25 tracked skid steer for many years because it is the smallest of the tracked skid steers but still a very capable machine. Up through 2019, you could buy a NEW ASV RT-25 for between $28k and $31k depending upon the dealer. Now that same machine is over $40k!
