No the BN-20A and BN-20D take different inks. The BN-20A uses solvent ink which is good for printing on vinyl, canvas, paper, banner, and more. On the other hand the BN-20D uses a water-based pigmented ink only to be printed on special DTF film!
there is so little about this printer ( at least in my country /sea ) if typing exactly the series just redirect me to videos on roland 8-9 years ago , and no what gen the machine is , price and etc but you round it up what this machine capable of . if printing sticker vinyl is my main focus is this printer worth it ?
Yes, definitely! Its main cons are that it is slower and only 20" compared to larger models on the market. It is on promo for $3,995 thru 6/30/24 so the price cannot be beat for what it can do. If you think you need higher production then I would look into the BN2-20A which is the newer model (twice as fast) or even a larger model.
