My understanding is that it’s not the gold or silver that adheres to the cub but once the design is printed in to the gold or silver paper then it’s able to adhere to the substrate, so it’s sort of like the ink is used as an adhesive. Get it?
hi..i have a epson l360 for with sublimation ink..can i do the same what you did..and this goolden amd silver paper are sublimation paper??and from where we can get it...plzz reply..
Hello ANEEQ AHMAD, The Forever Multi-Trans Metallic is only for laser printer! If you want to know where you can get it, just send us an e-mail to: info@forever-ots.com, tell us where are you located and we'll forward you to a dealer in your area! Kind Regards
I’m having an issue with my mugs. My mugs are matte and i’ve never had an issue until recently. The gold (not just the image) sticks onto the mug. So i have the imagine PLUS random blobs of gold from the paper. I’ve tried everything and don’t know what to do anymore
You'll need to check the quality of the Mug. Not all Mugs are made the same and inconsistencies may happen in the manufacturing of the Mugs. For example, the thickness of the coating on the Mug.
Dear Gail Dodd, yes, you can press Multi-Trans Metallic on any mug, but we can't warrant, that it will be work. We recommend the FOREVER mugs, which you can buy by our dealers. If you have some questions left, write us an Email: info@forever-ots.com
Hello, Raj yar your video is amazing. Can you tell how can I transfer any metallic image to any fabric. Kindly tell me which paper should I use to glue onto fabric. Please tell me Raj
Hello, of course. If you'd like to print metallic colors on fabrics we suggest Flex-Soft (No-Cut). It's a media that works with regular laser printers.
Multi-Trans Metallic is a transfer paper for printing customized or personalized Metallic images and text onto hard and smooth surfaces such as Mugs, Glass, Metal or similar. All you have to do is print a single-color black image onto the metallic coated paper and press it to your chosen application, using the recommended settings. Here you'll find more information www.forever-ots.com/product/multi-trans-metallic/
This is a single color solution and called Multi-Trans Metallic. To use it you need a regular laser printer. www.forever-ots.com/product/multi-trans-metallic/
What print setting do you use for the OKI Pro 9541? It’s great you all have all the products but we need settings that work so we’re not wasting products. Please.
First you need to prepare the image like that for White Toner Printers: 300% Black (C: 100% + M: 100% + Y: 100% = 300% Composite Black). Then you can just print it mirrored and specify the weight (approx. 200g).
Dear Stephen Hollyoake, please get in touch with our sales team via email: info@forever-ots.com Thank you and have a nice day! Kind Regards team FOREVER
And my printer is pretty new and I keep getting ink marks on the transfer which transfers on to the mug! Yet the ink does not transfer on to paper or card or material. Super psd!
Dear Luis Enrique Pérez Román, yes, you can press Multi-Trans Metallic on any mug, but we can't warrant, that it will be work. We recommend the FOREVER mugs, which you can buy by our dealers. If you have some questions left, write us an Email: info@forever-ots.com
That depends on your mug press. With laser printing on hard surfaces you need a good amount of pressure. If that is the case, you won't need the silicone pad.
This is a very helpful tip. If the water is below freezing then cracking may occur. But we do not suggest water which is below freezing - just a bowl of cold water. This should be below the temperature of the room, but not below freezing. If you are making several hundred mugs, then leaving the Mugs to cool naturally is also possible. If you do this, then once the mug is cold, we recommend wetting the back of the paper before peeling. This makes the peeling process easier and prevents errors from occurring.
I didn't say below freezing...lol I used COLD water or rather just straight from the faucet water. I now take a big square container with hot water and set all of my mugs in it. I keep there until the last mug is done. Then I take them out one by one and wipe them off. Then by the time I get to the last mug, it will have set there for a bit. But I always take off my paper before putting into the water. On another note, We LOVE the forever paper. We tried it last night and it's a nice turn out for tshirts. Need to try it on mugs next. Right now I'm using my sublimation printer, but we are always looking for more ideas.
thisisme the wife yeah when I used room temperature water it cracked. Some even formed hairline cracks that you couldn't see, but could hear them forming when dipped in to the water. You could slightly feel them as well. Above room temp is what works best for me
I've tried above room temp as well, but still, I get the crackling sound, not as much if I put in slowly. Since my comment, I tried using a lukewarm wet paper towel, although it took a little longer, it did help and no crackling sound.
Hi! I have to transfer small white letters and logos (maximum height 3 mm) to a metal painted surface. Is it possible to get a good job with this product in this situation? Another question: I have only a standard black toner printer, how can I perform the transfer? Can you please give me the name of the product I have to choose for this jobs? Thanks in advance!!
Hi Carmine Mirtuono, Our Multi-Trans Metallic comes in Gold, Silver and Bronze, so White would not be possible. But if you would like to print silver instead of White, then this is possible. You require a good printer, similar to the Canon LBP6020/6030 series of printers and a good press. Please take a look at our printing instructions in order to print onto Metal surfaces: www.blacktonertransfer.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Multi-Trans-Metallic-ENG.pdf If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Any advice on using this on pens and lighters. The toner scratches off after fixing the print. I normally fix for 12seconds at 400 degrees Fahrenheit using parchment paper and silicone pad. Any longer or higher melts the plastic.
We do sell Multi-Trans Metallic Gold, Silver & Bronze, but we only go through dealers. Please contact us directly and we will forward your request to a dealer in your area: info@forever-ots.com

Dear Chef Renzo, you can't use Flex-Soft (No-Cut) on mugs.. If you have a more specific question, please write us an email: info@forever-ots.com Thank you in advance Kind Regards
Hi Basil271, We have 2 suggestions: 1. Make sure that you are using the correct Mug for Laser heat transfer media. The following link takes you to the correct Mugs for printing laser designs onto Mugs: www.forever-ots.com/product/laser-mugs/ 2. Check that your Mug Press timer does not start until your Mug has reached 320°F. Only when the Mug has reached 320°F should the 180 second timer start. If you are still having issues, please send us an email with your settings, process and images to the following email address: info@forever-ots.com Kind Regards Your FOREVER Team

Actually no it’s not dishwasher proof! I tried it and the transfer came straight off. Very disappointed considering I bought 100 for £180 uk pounds. In fact I’m totally psd!
Hello Ziba Khan, sounds like there is a mistake with the processing. We would be glad to help you, to get great results with the Multi-Trans Metallic paper. Please contact your dealer or write us an email: info@forever-ots.com Send us information and pictures of the problem and we'll help you as soon as possible Kind Regards
@Ziba Khan, did you follow the curing instructions and put them in an oven for 15 mins? Mine do fine in a dishwasher - although to be fair even High Street Shop bought dinner set patterns eventually wear out in a dishwasher because they are so abrasive when cleaning.
Hello Roger, does your mug press has a setting were it only starts, when there's a certain temperature? The transfer process takes 180 sec. and adding the time the mug needs to be heat up you can try it with 240 sec.
