*I've just finished watching a podcast where the person being interviewed mentioned your channel as one of a few channels that helped her go from 0 - 250k in 5 months as a stay at home mom so I've looked you up and will be watching and implementing all your processes too - wish me luck Cassiy!*
Can't remember off the top of my head, I was flicking through some videos as her Podcast caught my attention but I'll see if I have it in my history or something and get back to you...
Always much thanks for your encouraging words!! I’ve started the process already by opening up an Etsy shop and printify accounts but been procrastinating on making designs for my shirts. This is where I’m feeling super overwhelmed.
Same! Except I have made some designs and started on the first listing, but haven't completed setting up payments and shipping..(this is where I'm feeling overwhelmed..but I think I have a better understanding of how it works now) I think I'm gonna use her codes to start my printify premium because I was gonna launch with the free printify. I wish u success in ur business!
That’s a totally normal feeling! Just remember that your first designs aren’t going to be your best ones and that’s ok! Jarran from the lifehacker couple always said that your first 100 designs are the manure that your great designs eventually grow from 😂
Thank you for the voter confidence Cassiy I've been watching your videos and they have been amazing. You are very detailed oriented which I love. Just thank you so much for all the information and support that you are given.
Cassiy, your videos have helped me so much. But I have come to a roadblock with no sales. I’m wondering if you could take a look to see what I need to improve on.
Love your videos, I started creating products and never got to upload any. I opened my etsy shop last night around 6:30, they took the $29.99 fee and this afternoon they are suspending me for no reason. Is this typical? I only uploaded a digital product a png, I don't even plan to sell that stuff but needed to list something to get the store open.
I love your channel! I used your links and advice to start my Etsy shop. I noticed on some of your older videos that shop reviews are mentioned. Do you still do shop reviews?
8:45 - Open one new account every single day... huh? Do you mean open a new Etsy account every day? I'm very confused. Where do I start so I can learn this business? I've got a lot of product ideas that are pretty unique and I'm itching to get started!! And thank you for all the info!
Cassiy, do you ever help with walk a walk through. My account was immediately suspended when I started it. They sent me an article about payments but I still hv no clue. My back acct is verified. I hv my credit card attached on the acct for purchases and my subscription. Not sure what I'm missing 😕 at a stopping point before I even start.
Be careful it might be a scam message, if it comes in directly to your message box on etsy then it's definitely a scam asking you to verify your credit card or bank
Hi Cassiy! Thank you for your content! If you're doing POD with Printify, do you recommend doing free shipping on your shop since you've integrated that into your costs using Printify? I see that Etsy still says it's charging shipping on the listing. I wasn't sure if that was in addition to the shipping included in your product costs, or if that was in addition to and we should shut it off? Thank you!!
This video was very informative, I really appreciate the transparency. Can you elaborate on the statement you made about opening a new account every day? Did you mean creating new products in your store every day. I'm in the beginning stages of POD and I don't want to set myself up for something that is unrealistic.
Sorry I just meant like opening your Etsy shop one day, then making an account with Printify the next day, then connecting them, then singing up for something like Everbee etc. I just meant you don't have to feel like you need to conquer all of the set up in one day! Best of luck
Hi Cassiy, Thanks for the videos. New to POD. All I heard for Etsy fees is the .20 per listing? Does Etsy not have other fees like processing or anything else? Is it really just the .20?? Thanks!
Etsy does have the other processing fees and such yes, this video was just covering the start up costs but when you start getting sales, then the other Etsy fees will come out of the sale price as well!
Hi Cassiy! Thanks so much for your videos! I'm enacting all your steps right now and can't wait to update with the progress. I tried to use your Printify code for 30 free days, but it didn't work. Do you have a coupon code or updated link? Thank you!
Thanks for info, but me paying upfront maybe 100 orders of my credit card and then wait for the payments the customer made for days or weeks is not possible to do buiz. I just opend the store and have my design ready but i will have to close the etsy shop and sell other place because if this. Initialy i was under impression from all videos i see here that after the Customer pays etsy mkney get transfert Partly to printify to make and ship the product and i receive the remaining funds minus etsy fees Asap. Too bad
Hello, ive been watching your videos along with others and have opend up shop. But before i start uploading my designs i wanted to know what happens if my bank account does not have enough money in it to front the cost of x amount of orders? Say i only have $100 and am selling products at $30. When 4 products have been orderd and cost $120, what heppends?
Hi, I'm new to POD and feeling a bit overwhelmed with choosing a supplier. I've seen some mixed reviews about Printify's product quality in Australia. Any recommendations for POD suppliers that offer tshirt 2D and 3D?
Do you think it's getting harder and harder to sell on Etsy? Are there alternative platforms with less rules, less controls? Isn't Etsy primarily for female consumers? There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. It does however limit creativity designing for a more narrow audience. Are there viable alternatives? Selling on Amazon as a POD start up not realistic, correct?
I haven't started yet, but it would seem that women also make purchases for gifts for others as well -- the guys in their life, children, friends, co-workers... I think the key here is doing the research on what's selling. Designs can be broad enough to appeal to more than one group or you can specialize for a more specific group (niche).
There are plenty of men’s products that sell on the platform and I have heard that male shoppers are starting to come to the platform as well recently! I think it’s a very diverse platform for what you can sell, I agree with the other comment that you just need to see what’s already selling to make sure there is demand for a niche and then you’re good to go! I have sold some on Merch By Amazon as well and it just takes longer to grow there but can be really profitable as well. Just not everyone gets approved to sell on their platform and there is less creativity because everyone uses the same photos
I’m looking to start doing POD for my art and am having trouble finding a good photo editor app to help with resizing the images so they’d fit. I know adobe is good but it’s expensive…can someone please help me lol
Yes I would check out Canva! I think they could work for what you’re looking at and it’s a lot less than adobe! You get a 30 day free trial too which is nice
Hello Cassiy , I just opened my Etsy store this morning and now I got a message from Etsy seller Asking to deposit 600 or 900cad in my account . I live in Canada . Do you think is it really Etsy or it’s a scam ? I have all screenshots . And how can I contact the Etsy please 🙏
Under the taxes section on printify it is asking me for a retail license number for me to get a resale certificate. Am I doing something wrong? Please help
Hi Cassie, I have been watching your videos for sometime and I appreciate your work. I started my shop about a year ago, but I’m giving up now. Are you willing to check out my shop and give me couple of advices? I appreciate you.
I’m sorry to hear you are having a tough time with your shop! Sorry I can’t help but I know some other RU-vidrs do shop reviews if you check around to see if someone may be able to take a look! Sometimes it takes awhile to get things going but I always recommend going back to the research. The more studying you do of what’s working for others, the better you’ll understand how you can implement some of the same strategies and how to add your own value ❤️
