Don’t be afraid of pdf patterns. I think they are really fun to use!
First find your pattern, purchase it and download all of the files. Typically you will get 3 or 4 files. The instructions, the print at home pdf you would print from AdobeReader.com, and a large format to take to a professional printer.
I have always printed mine at home because I want to get to my project quickly.
You’ll need a few tools.
Scissors and/or
12” paper cutter
Scotch Tape
It shouldn’t take you much longer than 30 minutes from start to finish. It does depend on how many pages the pattern company recommends you print out. Jalie Patterns keeps theirs at a minimum it seems.
The #charliebomber jacket took 20 pages whereas the #cocooncardigan needed 25 pages.
Here are some of my favorite pattern companies that you can find online.
