I can honestly say I've clicked through many videos and I love how you're straight to the point. No rambling. Not wasting the first 6 minutes telling us about yourself (although I'm sure you're a great person) Will definitely subscribe for more content. Thank you :)
Thank you for reviewing us Shay! We are looking to improve our Glued notepad product this year and give customers the option to upload personalised inner pages...watch this space! Your designs look fab and we hope to print again for you soon. Doxzoo Team
That would be amazing! You already have the advantage over competitors with the custom covers so the custom pages would take it to the next level. I’m excited to submit my next order!
This is exactly what I have been looking for. I have been looking all over for a place to print a spiral journal I am making. Thank you so much for taking the time to walk through all of this!
Thank you for sharing. I’ve had my eye on Doxzoo for a while but was hesitant about using it. This has been really helpful to see the examples of how products look.
Girllllll you have answered my prayers. When I say the ancestors lead me to you. This video was on point and I’m ready to try them out!!! I would love if you did a video on designing the pages
Just found your video today and i'm so thankful I did! I have a journal idea I've been looking to have done and the printing options are so difficult to decide on. Thank you for this!!!!
A video on designing the planner would be awesome! I'm almost done designing but I'm certain there are some factors and variables I haven't considered and additional info always comes in handy!
I just added the design video! You may already have these resources but still wanted to let you know! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ctVGz3aZKi4.html
I wanna create a book that tears off paper like cute seamless prints that people can use for their scrapbook but I can't find a good website that will allow me to create using my designs. It's really stressful tryna find a good vendor/someone that can help you with your products. I want my products to be good quality. I don't wanna be disappointed that I spent hundreds of dollars worth of products all for it to not come out right. as a customer , you should be satisfied with your purchase and the seller too . I'm happy, you're happy too. keeps the customer coming back for more.
This was so helpful! I'm yet to find a company that makes premium feel journals customized on the inside that also offer print on demand as I have hardly any space to keep stock! Thanks for this and if you know of anyone let me know! Wish Dozxoo did it as these look lush!
That's a great point. One thing I do love about Doxzoo is there are no minimums. So you can literally just buy one or more and reup when you need to. But I definitely understand the convenience of POD!
Hey everyone! Thanks so much for all the feedback on this video. I've finally added a video on a couple simple ways to design the inner pages! Check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ctVGz3aZKi4.html
This was so helpful Shay! I’ve been wanting to do a spiral bound planner/journal so this was great. I’m going to give Doxzoo a try. When you design your pages, do you use Canva or another platform like Adobe inDesign? I created a planner from scratch for a client before in Canva and it did what needed to be done but I was curious of other options out there for design.
I use indesign! It’s much easier to create a catalog of easily editable designs using inDesign although there’s definitely a learning curve coming from a user friendly platform like Canva. The good thing is youtube is always one search away answering all my questions on demand 😂 The most important elements to learn are master pages & tables! That’s what a true graphic designer hipped me to.
@@pamelarenee88 I believe Adobe also offers workshops as well. And then super duper cheat code (lol) map out your design on paper and find a designer on fiverr to lay it out in inDesign. That way you have a roadmap and can experiment with adjustments.
Hello Shay! This was super helpful and informative I am wanting to start my own stationery line and have been just overwhelmed with where to start. Would you be willing to do a video on some tips to really get started or, would that be something I would book a coaching call with you for?
Thanks for watching love! I totally understand being overwhelmed. I actually shelved my whole business idea back in 2018 after being so discouraged. I will definitely put that together for you all. Let me know some of your biggest pain points!
Hey Porche! I just added a video on designing stationery pages for those with limited design skills. Let me know what you think! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ctVGz3aZKi4.html
Your video is exactly what I was looking for! This maybe an obvious question and not sure if you have a video on the process from the sample to the bulk-- did Doxzoo send a pdf of the planner as well for you to use for the bulk. Just wanted to know how the vendor gets the physical sample if it's a different company?
Hey Thelma! I hope I can give a helpful answer. You actually provide the completed PDF to Doxzoo. The only thing you might not have is the cover design if you design it on their site. I recommend designing it yourself so you can it to use with other vendors.
Thanks for watching! Reputable vendors on Alibaba will do a 1 piece sample for you. Price usually ranges $60-$120 depending on style and then you have to pay for air shipping which is a bit pricey. But it’s a necessary investment and I recommend getting a sample from at least 2 vendors so you can compare. I hope that helps!
Great job! This was so helpful! Just to clarify with the Hardback Wire binding you mentioned the inner sheets were customizable...does that mean you customized and uploaded your own design on Doxzoo for the inner sheets?
Thank you for the recommendation! I wonder if they can make a hardcover that’s gonna open fully, so that it lays flat open on the table? Didn’t find that option on the website, although I don’t even know how that’s called
Thanks for sharing. I may try them out. I'm still building my audience. When do you think it's a great time to sell planners? I just subscribe and will explore more videos.
Thank you for watching and subscribing! NOW is the best time! People who really love planners will start preparing for the new year in September and October.
Thank you so much for making this video! Just wanted to confirm, the inner pages for the notebooks can be customizable, yes? I am printing a batch of personalized planners and am looking for manufacturers rn.
Thanks for watching! You will have to upload your own document then select your preferred binding in order to have customized pages. If you select "notebook" it may default to just giving you the option for lined/grid/blank pages.
Your video had got me into printing my notebooks with vistaprint but I want to sell them. I contacted a store and they asked if it was published and I said no. I'm confused as to how it works once I've printed a notebook. Do I have to register an isbn or can I only sell notebooks that are printed with a publisher?
That’s awesome! I can’t answer specifically for that store but if they are seeking a published product you can self publish through Amazon. kdp.amazon.com/en_US/
Thank you so much for sharing this 🥰 recently made my own planner pages so this was really helpful! Would you mind sharing the website you use (if any) to print your hole punched A5 sheets? I’m having difficulty with that right now :/
Hello! I don't know if you mentioned it or if I missed it, do they offer the option of having the cover extend beyond the tabs in the coiled design? Or did you say that they didn't offer that?
I am interested in starting some planners with tear-off sheets you know like the planner menu can any of these companies assist me with these types of planners as well?
Thanks for your sharing! I want to print a planner notebook, may be a spiral bound or hard cover. Do you know any service allow custom interior pages beside Doxzoo?
Thank you for watching! I wish there were more that were easily accessible but I haven’t found many. You can definitely explore vendors on Alibaba though!
Thank you for sharing! Do you ship your products yourself? I sell notebooks on Amazon but I hate not being able to see the notebook before it’s shipped. I would like to have control of my designs and notebooks.
@@ShesBasically Thank you! Omg! I would love to leave personal notes! Would you mind making a video on how to get that started? I definitely want to do this on my own. Thanks again for your response! Happy Birthday!!!🎉
I've considered it but it would be a bit too time consuming for me. I work FT as well so having a quality vendor is super helpful to bring my designs to life faster!
Hey! I am struggling a lot because I want to sell for 15 dollars but I can't since shipping is so expensive to every country, otherwise lulu was my go to. Any tips? What can I do to fix this? It hurts me to sell for 25 dollars...
I definitely understand the frustration with that! May I ask if you have a unique feature to the journal? Like custom artwork? If so, I would try a few units at the $25 price point and emphasize the unique selling point. You really can’t sell for less if it doesn’t mean breaking even so why not go for it at the price that works for the bottom line. You’ll have to focus on marketing it properly so it reaches those who will truly value it. Personally I’ve paid up to $80 for a piece of stationery because it was from a visual artist I really love. Your people are out there!
@@ShesBasically I guess your right, thanks for the advice. I am not as known with this space like you but planning to sell this to a niche I have built upon another account and I know how to take care of the marketing on my own. I was hesitating to just put my logo out there on a normal journal and then add one sheet/card with how to use it every day since that price would be way better and I think sell more... dillema! What do you think about that idea?
@@DutchProGamer I’m not known either 😂 I just keep cultivating my community by producing quality products with my unique ideas! I think that’s a great idea and you can also incorporate digital assets that don’t add to your costs but increases the value. Such as a QR code that leads to a freebie digital planning sheet, playlist to plan/journal to, mobile & desktop screensaver, etc.
@@ShesBasically So it's a great idea to sell the fully designed 25 dollar varient, not the cheap idea your talking about right? The QR code idea is really good I will think about what to add in value with it, thanks!!
Hi just came across your channel - you love the same things as me ❤ new follower ❤I’d love support as I only have a little channel - but I love your aura ❤
Thanks for much for this video. I’ve been wanting to print a custom planner per school. I placed an order with Doxzoo and can’t wait until my planner gets here.
