*** One important thing that I forgot to mention in the video is that Printful gives you the option to easily connect & sync your online store via Shopify, WooCommerce, etc... This is a very helpful feature because it allows your customers to directly order products through your website. As far as I know, Teespring does not offer a similar feature.

Giving your honest feedback is not hating bro. You just shared your experience and opinion 👍🏽 I recently started to test companies to see which one I will be using for my merch. I started with Teespring and it was not the best experience. I placed two orders. The first order consisted of two shirts with two different prints. The prints were fine, but the two shirts did not match in dimensions, even though it was the same brand, model and size (L). That’s not good. The second order consisted of two tank tops. I ordered the same one in red and black. So the red tank was indeed a tank top, but the black one was some sort of sleeveless shirt. I never even put a sleeveless shirt in my store! The print on the sleeveless shirt was also crooked (not centered at all). Oh, and in between the two orders I actually received a package from Teespring that I never ordered with a lame shirt I would never order. That was extra weird 😂😂 I still have to contact their customer support about the shirts so I can’t say if that is good, but I won’t be using them to sell my merch. I’m building my shop with woocommerce and printful now

@@tonepoet4568 No unfortunately,. I watched lots of videos, Printful is more expensive but the quality is also better. Printsome seems good (UK) but the price difference with Printful is just 0.50€ and they are new, no reviews around. CustomCat seems good for the US market. My suggestion is high prices + charity donation + niche.

It depends on the price of the shirt itself too! I don’t think charging customers around 20 bucks is a bad thing, because if u put effort into your artwork n choose a nice shirt like next level or gildan , it’s showing the value of your fashion design work as well as the value of the shirt itself (:

I'm trying to use Printful but having trouble centering text/numbers. When the line hits like it's centered, it doesn't look centered, it's more closer to the right side. Do you or anyone else have this problem??

I designed a cup on Teespring. Didn't know what I was doing or how its campaigns worked. So estimated 50, thinking it was a lifetime thing. Anyway. No orders, as I am not about to advertise or market the cup. Later discovered tons of complaints against Teespring at Better Business Bureau site. Judging by the complaints, it would have been a risk that they would not have been able to produce my design well. Also, I ordered a t-shirt from a top RU-vid commentator who uses Teespring. Very long delivery period. Tracking only goes as far as delivery to the country. That happened almost ten days ago, but still no delivery and no ability to get in touch with anybody. Long time to wait around for a delivery. Also, if I had gone ahead and used them, the slow delivery, with no human contact, would have been a real problem for customers. So Teespring is off my list. In fact, I am beginning to think it is better to do my own shipping -- for now anyway, using a printing company whose CEO reaches out in its marketing, and that appears to pride itself on having actual people to deal with its customers.

I've sold 2 of my mugs on Teespring. :) I did an auto print, besides the 3 day wait, an my customer had gotten her order within a week and a half. :) No complaints, and she loves her mugs. :)

I've had good experiences so far with Printful. I'm new to POD, and I'm liking their all-over shirts, leggings, skater skirts, and I've also gotten their lumbar pillow cases. No complaints other than having to price my stuff rather high. :B

Good info.. how about the handfeel ? You should touch, bend, or stretch the printed area so we can imagine the thickness. Usualy they give white underbase for dark garment, and it makes the print so thick

Really good practical comparison. Thanks for posting. I just got a Bella + Canvas shirt from Printful And was disappointed Ruth the quality of the T-shirt blank to be honest. They have great customer support, but the fabric was quite thin, had a tapered fit, and not my taste.

This is a good but very basic review. If you are interested in going further you could think more like one. I say this because the main things a fashion designer will look at and talk about after getting their sample is the quality. You dis say "the quality is good, or similar" etc but those don't quantify it. You could say, there was no sign of peeling or cracking, I'll wash the shirt and check for that. How many washes until fading? White underlayer bleeding out. Color reproduction to submitted file etc. Packaging is also important to discuss but 1hr after the customer had their product and it's top quality, that won't matter. All they will see is their quality product.

Thanks, great review, printful sounds way better to me, to have many options and make sure customers get the right size prints and so on, many reasons, but what about printful vs shopify? And do you get to keep your customers info and e-mail addresses when you sell through printful, in case you want to e-mail offers to provious customers and so on?

Teespring still sucks... and it 2020! Tried to order samples... only lets you order one shirt at a time... which means separate shipping charges for each shirt. Talk about making a profit on shipping! I thought the "shopping cart" hadn't updated, so I hit the back button the looked fr the "shopping cart" and what do you know... NO Shopping Cart button or link... ANYWHERE! So I backed out and I am looking for other POD Suppliers. I sent an email to Teespring asking what gives... still waiting for a response. Then 2 emails arrive saying "Did you leave this behind?" - It showed my shirts and said they were "saved in your shopping cart" - yeah, the invisible shopping cart. So, because I like to start my day off with a disappointment, I clicked on the shopping cart link in the email. . . which displayed: "YOUR CART IS EMPTY!" - Got my disappointment fix for the day. Teespring makes it damn near impossible to figure out how they do things. I watched their "informational video" on ordering samples and the talk about a convoluted explanation! The take-away was you have to actually set up your store and then order samples. That is backwards, to say the least. Who wants to go to the trouble to setup a storefront, order samples, hate the product. . . and now have a storefront on a website you will never use? It should be ORDER SAMPLES - ADD MULTIPLE DESIGNS TO YOUR CART - PAY FOR THE SAMPLES - EVALUATE THE PRODUCTS - LIKE THE PRODUCTS - SETUP YOUR STORE FRONT - DO BUSINESS. . . But noooo.... that would be too damn easy! They may be less expensive. . . but like the saying goes, "you get what you pay for; in this case... NOTHING!

Is there a company that doesn't do this? "you can’t add different designs for the same product type (for example, two unisex shirts with two different designs), but you can add different designs for different product types" Teesping I would like to use the same product for all my designs.

That was a really good video. I ordered from Teespring and it took I think over 2 weeks... where a Printful about 4 days. I have a question... about if my customers are not satisfied with the product or have a simple question... can these printer on demand companies put their phone number on the address label... or in side package so my customers can contact them for returns or whatever they need? @@rb7007 I ordered 2 shirts from my Tee Spring store for a couple's Destination, 50th birthday celebration. I also attended the celebration. The shirts arrived the week before we left town and because the couple trusted me, they never even looked at the shirts until the night of the party. Unfortunately the shirts were very incorrect and I was totally embarrassed. Not only were the shirts incorrect, this left a bad impression of my store, with the people at the party. The lettering was very light/thin and probably won't survive 1 wash. The lettering was way off center and nothing like the preview showed. I contacted the company and they had me send in pictures and eventually reprinted the shirts and sent them out to me. These shirts also came back incorrect. I went through the same process again and they sent the shirts out again. This time the lettering was lined up properly however whatever process they are using to print the shirts is very unprofessionally done. I have a couple of new shirt ideas but am reluctant to put them in my Tee Spring store. I am in the process of looking for another company.

Hey love your video your shirts also look badass! Are the t-shirts soft tees? I like the feel of soft vintage t-shirts like from the 80s. Is there material top-notch? I want to sell t-shirts but don't want to give my customer a crappy product I've heard they Gildan is pretty crappy cotton t-shirts entry level t-shirts. I also like the texture and feel of the Star Wars t-shirts you can get at Walmart that have the little white dots all over them kind of like a star pattern they're only $7.50 to buy at Walmart and the texture is super super soft and very comfortable. So glad I came across your video! I started selling my brand thru Teespring and have discovered a few things I am not happy with. My question concerning Printful, do they charge separate shipping costs per design added to an order? Ex. Design 1 Qty 1 $5.99 shipping; Design 2 Qty 1 $5.99; Design 3 Qty 1 $5.99 So my customer pays the price of the shirts plus $18 to ship. They also will not bundle the orders. The different designs ship out at different times.

It’s actually 2 sample orders per order and 2 per month. Fee shipping and 20% of your order I have done a sample and Printful is not the best but alright. I got the Canva Bella 3400 with DTG printing

Yea, you can sell your designs using as many POD sites as you wish. If you created the design, you own the copyright.

what a coincidence... the print was also much smaller than the design on the web of teespring, i thought its because i got the Large size, like they only have one printer size so the apparel size may increase but the print would stay the same, now that i know they sent another one with the full size design to you, my assumption is wrong, but wtf..... why would they do this? do you think they are trying to save money by using less ink or something? idk why... but surely it cant be a coincidence can it?

Good question! Looks like Printful has a $10 flat rate international charge for a t-shirt + $1 for each additional shirt. From what I can tell, Teespring charges a flat rate $12.50 + $4 for each additional item.

Still waiting to receive an item from Teespring. Sitting in one location in DHL warehouse for the 4th day. Choice of carrier is not good.

Why would they, you made those designs so you own them. They want you to use them.

Very informative! So would u say that if you're limited on money or just starting out use teespring but keep a close eye or just sacrifice do printful wether or not u have the funds or just starting out. Thx!

brandnew new tee spring is free ,but they take a cut of your tee shirt price for profit and your profit is the remainder of it.i don’t know about printful.

Question: Is the design embedded in the cloth? Or more like "clued" on it? You get what I mean

With DTG printing, the design is more-so embedded in the cloth. With screen printing, the design is printed on top of the cloth.
