I will show you how to print and apply your own rub-on transfers from an inkjet printer using @SUNNYSCOPA transfer film. (EDIT: see second video for further explanation of applying the adhesive layer)
Holly Molly...girl U R the first to show how to do the custom transfers...i have been searching for the answer and u just share knowledge...THANK YOU!!!!!!!
I was just sitting here wondering, "Can I make my own transfers?" I am so excited after seeing your video. I hope it's as easy as you make it look. Thank you so much for the instruction. I am going to subscribe too!
This is the best video I have seen describing the transfer system that you have used. I am waiting for my transfer papers to be delivered tomorrow. How fortuitous. :)
CeCe is a badass ! Lol I can see she loves life not just painting . With a bike and a basketball in the video, she didn’t feel the need to tidy up and make the background “pretty” for filming . Which tells me she’s all go !
Wow .This video tutorial is Gold dust ! Not going to waste my money on IOD transfer .Well done lady ..considering this video dates back to 2019 it remains very relevant im going to share this ... thank you cos your awesome !
l just found you and l am so happy l did because this is something l have wanted to learn. You sure know how to teach, if your not a teacher you should become one. l have subscribed to your channel because you are one of the very few who knows how to explain things for people to understand. Thank you, l will be picking up the tools l need to begin transfers. l know how to do most things, but this is one craft l have never done. For some time l wanted to learn this craft, but didn't find the right teacher that is until now. Again, thank you and l look forward to learning more with you!
Thanks for sharing CeCe, I have some of this paper and didn't quite understand how it works, now I do. Opens up a whole new world of custom design. Can't wait to try it.
THANK YOU!!! I bought transfer paper during your video and just made my own transfer today. It works wonderful!! Now my client can have the humming birds she wanted!! TY TY!
Girl you look like me! I'm always covered in paint! Lol as I wss typing that the blow dryer came on. I said yep she IS ME 😍 great tutorial thanks so much for creating this!
Beck S Amazon Australia sell the same brand of paper for $22 AU (It ships from the US so postage could be expensive) I did a google search for decal paper and found an online company in Redfern NSW called Decal Paper. You get 5 sheets for $29 (plus postage) Hope this helps.
Great tutorial. Just know that if you heat your artwork on the varnished floor that you can lift the varnish and the floor’s wood fiber. Always use a heat mat.
What a wonderful video! I've long wondered how to make a transfer. The commercial ones are so expensive..Thank you so much. Now I have to see if Amazon Italy has that paper AND that it's not an insane price. A small bottle of Dawn costs €99,00. .
thank you so much for this info... :) (just a small heads-up...if you use an old toothbrush on the hairdryer to clean away any dust that is showing in that air circle there, 7:52 your dryer will last longer ) An old tip, but a good one. :)
I love this idea I tried to buy this rub on transfer paper from Amazon but it keeps referencing water slide paper so that is different ( but also cool) do you have a link to Amazon for this particular paper?
Very helpful tutorial CeCe I have ordered some of your recomendations, but can find Dixie Belle top coat in england, can you tell me what alternitive I can use. Thanks
Very cool! This iz exactly what I'm looking for, for my logo on the headstocks of the guitars that I'm building. Can you post a direct link to the Sunny Scopa paper you're using? I did a search for it on Amazon where you said you purchased it, but nothing came up for the exact one you're using. Thanx! Bearz
Do do print and send? ( with payment, of course.) I don’t have a printer. I need American flag plus a 🦌 deer. ❤️ your easy to understand videos/tutorials. Thank you.
Hello, I think you just saved my life !!!lol. Do you think I would be able to use this to put my business on my hot tools, like a straighten ? Just like the blow dryer had words on it ?
I love your piece. It's beautiful. I wonder - have you ever tried making your own transfers on the "shiny" side of label paper? I did do this on an old secretary desk, and like with the actual transfer paper, you have to reverse your image before printing but there's no need for the backing paper, the adhesive paper, etc., you just run it through your printer (I use my color laser printer), shiny side up, and then you just apply some gel medium or glue like Mod Podge to your piece, lay the paper down as you want it, burnish it with a tool or a credit card, wait for the transfer medium or Mod Podge to completely dry, then peel the paper off and you're done. It works great and I think it's easier than doing all the steps for the transfer paper.
This is a great video CeCe, you did a very good job teaching us how to do your process. BTW hour desk is beautiful!!! There have been a lot of questions asked in the comments. Maybe you don’t see the comments.
HI CeCe I saw part to as well on this, as for Part 1 I’m wanting to know what program you are using to bring images down to computer, resize(are you resizing) and flipping in backwards?
your work is so beautiful. I have the same printer as yours. What is the paper setting? Mine, when I set the wrong one, I get stains and I got the vynil and don't want to waste. Thanks
I am modeling large scale 3D printed Star Trek models, so I wish to make custom Decals for them, and I always never cared a lot for waterslide decals. I think this could be a better approach.
