This is a cute little model of Pochita, a character from chainsaw man. Inspired by the work of Sebastian JM or nox.cg:

ok so i also happened to like chainsaw man. with the pochita figure costing $300 to preorder, the solution was to3d print. u had the only model that seemed right if u know what i mean. keep up the good work, earned a sub

Thanks! i'm still trying to improve a lot. This channel is a bit of an experiment to see if people want something like this, you know, where I design and share my prints... Its still not clear what exactly it will become (bigger focus on mechanics or characters, focus on FDM or resin, should I paint my prints or not etc etc...) But I guess the future will tell...

Printed the model last night and it's super cute, printed amazingly ^^ Also I was using a filament printer and even the smaller details (like fur or chainsaw spikes) turned out quite well!

2:32 do u mind explaining what ure doing on this step? i’m new to the 3d printing world sorry
@printchallenge7158
@printchallenge7158 Год назад
Well, you print with resin by curing each layer with UV light on the printer... After you take off the print, there is still a lot of excess material that you remove with an alcohol bath. Now you have a nice looking print, but it is still a bit soft / flexible because it is not cured enough, it still needs more UV light. You can just place the print in the sun, because daylight also contains UV light. But that will take a lot of time. Therefore, at 2:32, I place the print in what is called a curing station. The print spins around and there are UV lights which shine on the print. After about 1 or 2 minutes the print is now completely hard and no longer flexible. Hope that explains it :)

Can you do a tutorial on the camera rig you're using or how you got it
@printchallenge7158
@printchallenge7158 Год назад
Well I made it myself.. what I think I will do at some point is make a video about my rig vs a rig you can buy and talk about the pros and cons of designing your own rig… But a tutorial on how to make one from scratch would be a really big video 😆 if you have any questions just ask

@@PlayArena635 ah that hurts to hear 😞 part of my strategy for growing my channel was to give away my models for free. But I also don’t want to let people take advantage of me. If you have any advice / suggestions, feel free to give it. Maybe in the future I will have to sell some version or extra parts of my models as well because right now the channel is not monetized and extra income/support would be great of course. But even if I would have sold pochita for let’s say 10 dollars, some people would still resell it I guess?

@@printchallenge7158 the only thing that I can say is that you are probably known on sites like thingiverse and people will know if the model is reuploaded or not, you can also send links to your creations in your videos
