I feel so sad for Elvis. It makes me angry she wants to be buried near him. People go to see Elvis, it's not about her. I've tried to like her over the years, as a fan. The biggest problem I had was the name, her last name. She divorced him. We all know...we don't need to ash it over. I just really feel sorry for Elvis, it's cruel. Elvis says that when Priscilla Beaulieu was in Hawaii with Mike Stone, that they got into an argument and she called Elvis & asked if she could come back to Elvis & Elvis said "NO" .... Prissy didn't "approve" of the book, but she was, in fact, "interviewed" for "Child Bride." That's what makes the book so good because the author juxtaposes Prissy's comments along with the others that she interviewed dating back to middle school. I'm glad you brought this up. I recently finished Mike Edwards book and he did mention how Prissy's boyfriend was there and how she relented and came downstairs to speak with EP. Mike E. said it was after a night of "recording," but everything points to it was after a night of snowmobiling. Overall, I agree with what was said in "Child Bride" by Shirley Dieu, Joe E.'s girlfriend. Shirley D. said that Prissy was so rude and disprespectful to EP. There is another interview of Shirley D. by Joe Krein. In this interview, they discussed this topic and Shirley D. said, Wow, I've got "egg all over my face" because me and Prissy finally talked about this. Prissy told me that the reason she was making faces was because EP's pajamas were showing underneathe his snowmobile suit!! What a hoot!! Of course, that was around the same time that Shirley D. was writing her book and she discovered that Prissy was a "true friend." She had a hard time "selling it" in the interview. I know I didn't buy it. FYI, you know there was another instance in "Child Bride" where Sheila Ryan said that Prissy was "rolling her eyes" at EP. She's a "piece of work" no matter how you cut it.

Is this the true Priscilla Presley? In her movie.. she makes Elvis out to be the bad guy.. and I'm sorry.. I don't see the Elvis that she portrayed in her movie.. neither did Lisa Marie. In 1976.. he was on a roller coaster with his moods and medication. But In later 1976.. when Ginger was part of his life.. Elvis thinned down and was doing some of his best concerts.

This is off topic, but I think Priscilla’s desire to be buried at Graceland is odd, considering her hatred of Graceland and her lies painting Elvis as a buffoon and monster. In addition, it is apparent that neither Elvis nor Lisa Marie wanted her there. Keeping all this in mind, I think that, in addition to her massive ego at play, she sees being buried there as giving her final ‘middle finger’ to Elvis, Lisa Marie, and Elvis’ fans.

An ex girlfriend of Elvis who later married James Caan, said the same thing in an interview. She was furious as well how Priscilla showed in her film how Elvis had asked her to hug him so that the bodyguards could see. She said that was a lie and she was angry as well at Priscilla pulling faces and trying to make a fool of Elvis behind his back. At first I liked Priscilla but no more. I am A Elvis fan I look at all of these stories like this ! It's only one sided stories! From the day Elvis passed away she started acting like the window of Elvis! I have heard Priscilla say, she was afraid she wasn't going to be able to remember things much longer, and that was about 2 years ago. Reading her book "Elvis and Me" I don't think she had a great memory even back then. (Just my opinion). I do think everything is about Priscilla. (Again just my opinion.) I thank her for opening Graceland but she also filed a lawsuit right after Lisa died.... Hollywood's movie about Elvis came out with Oscar nominations but she had to force feed us the Priscilla movie soon after even thou the made for tv movie came out years ago....the lawsuit is what turned me plus she misses the spotlight......Lisa died and left 3 surviving kids and Grandma files a lawsuit????

David, Shirley has said that she takes that story back, she thought that Priscilla was mocking Elvis, but realised shed gotten the wrong end of the stick some time later. Shirley said she actually apologised to Priscilla about writing what she did in her book. Priscilla was laughing, at something else but not directly mocking Elvis. As for the book....CHILD BRIDE.... That's an understatement...as Priscilla was not a virgin even BEFORE she meet ELVIS... Priscilla portrays self as being sweet and innocent... If you have any doubts about her being a virgin talk to C. Grant... Priscilla knew that if she could get into Elvis's pants she would be set for life... I am sure Priscilla read the book, "Elvis What Happened?". I recently read it and I noticed she took many stories and made them her own. Red said the last 3 years of their marriage Elvis saw her about 15% of the time. Therefore, she has to steal other people's memories because she wasn't around.

Shirley Dieu is a close & dear friend of mine, I respect and adore her very much. In case some of you may not know this about her, she is one of the most intelligent, street smart, and common sensed people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She doesn't sugar coat things, she's a 'says it like it is' type of person. I always feel so fortunate that I can call her a dear and close friend, not because of her life experience with Elvis decades ago, because she's a solid, wonderful, kind, smart and caring friend, basically she's everything a person could ever ask for in a friend, that's Shirley.

If I understand your telling of the story correctly, this meeting took place in Southern California. However, the idea that Elvis had gone to the house after riding a snowmobile doesn't add up. You'd have to drive a few hours to Big Bear for any snow in SoCal, and there wouldn't have been snow if it wasn't winter. If Elvis had come from Lake Tahoe, there still wouldn't have been snow if it was summer, and if it was winter and he flew to L.A., he would certainly have changed clothes on the plane. Something doesn't add up. The other day I saw the picture of Elvis wearing the turban at a karate school. It's possible that Elvis could have worn something just to be different or to suit whatever mood he was in. But there's something about snowmobiles in summer in L.A. that doesn't make sense.

I dread the day she is buried at Graceland. I think early on Priscilla loved him. The relationship ran its course by the time they married. The marriage was over before they got married.

Let's be honest, Priscilla and her parents ever since Priscilla was 13 (actual age she was when she first met Elvis) only saw Elvis as the entertainer and their chance to never have to worry about money anymore. The proof of that is Priscilla staying at Graceland and never leaving Elvis while he was running around on her every chance he got. No girl who is with their boyfriend for love is gonna put up with their boyfriend sleeping with other women, especially the amount of times Elvis did it. Priscilla and her parents said she should just hang in there until he marries you. After yall are married your life is set but a cherry on top would be to have a kid by him then you are really set. She got pregnant on the 1st night of their marriage, you reckon she was taking something to make sure she conceived. Of course she did. After Lisa was born Priscilla was ready to leave Elvis and start getting those alimony & child support checks in the mail. It was not long after Lisa was born Priscilla started to looking for her next beau. I just wish Priscilla would've lived in Memphis so Lisa could've stayed at Graceland more than a couple of months at a time. Lisa got summers and Christmas and that was basically it for her Graceland memories and that is not right but Priscilla wanted to be famous on her own merit and not because who she married. If you don't believe me look at Anita's Wood, she walked out on Elvis thr very moment she heard he was trying to decide between her and Priscilla. Anita's was not with Elvis for money or to be famous like Priscilla was. Also look at Linda Thompson, she left Elvis, she didn't stay around after she learned Elvis was cheating on her. Priscilla had a plan and it worked. Her parents helped her in her plan by basically giving their daughter to Elvis when she was 16 years old. What is sad is that Elvis fell for her plan when he should've never brought her over here at 16. In a little while he would've forgot all about Priscilla if she wasn't at Graceland. Another dad thing is Elvis was never gonna br faithful to any woman. Elvis could've been so happy if he would've been mature enough to know he didn't have to prove he could have any woman. If he instead would've been faithful to his wife I think his wife, whoever she was, would've never left him but for some reason he did not want a wife around hardly at all.

I heard the story as Priscilla was laughing WITH Elvis not AT Elvis. They laughed at his pajamas and shirt hanging out from his jacket. Maybe Elvis appeared disheveled. It was just something simple.

Priscilla has always come off as a person who doesn’t have a caring loving personality. She cares more for herself than for anyone else. Since this was after the divorce, I can very well see that she would be acting unkind to Elvis. She really didn’t have any reason to shield any of her hurtful behavior or words towards Elvis. I agree also in the book, when Elvis died and she and her sister were upstairs in the bedroom, they had the door cracked open, and I can't remember if it was Shirley or patsy Lacker was coming down the hall.
