Not judging a book for a movie review. No matter if the book happened to be a riveting masterpiece, it doesn’t change my opinion that this movie was extremely tedious and quickly boring.

Nate - agree. My wife and I said, "lets give it a shot." I consider it a feat we made it through 45 minutes. Your description is on the nose - tedious and boring. We just didn't have it in us to watch the rest. Certainly pays to be the daughter of an oscar winning director. Keeps getting hired, when most undeserved. She hit her high water mark two decades ago with Lost in Translation and has fallen flat since.

And the directors are purely out to make something that will draw people into the cinemas in their droves, by using those celebrities and their names and reputations, all to make lots and lots of money for themselves, whilst hoping that they too may just win an Oscar for their so-called creative efforts.

A film which depicted JFK and Jackie missed the mark because the dude had ears that stood out and were no likeness to those that the actual President of the U.S. had on his head (when he still had a head).
