I was not AT ALL surprised by this movie. I just shook my head with my imaginary glass of red wine when someone would try and make excuses for Elvis’ perverting of Priscilla “well he IS the king of rock n roll”…I’m sorry Karen, but if he was other than skin colored white, would y’all be making the same argument?? SHE WAS 14 WHEN HE WAS NEARLY 25 WHEN THEY MET, let alone freaking DATE! Love the movie, however, and Sofia just KNOWS how to capture YOUNG GIRLS’ loneliness so well, that if that was lost on you in the viewing of ‘Priscilla’ then…🙃 she really did leave “the king” for a life of her own.
