I saw this movie and honestly have to give it 7 out of 10. The music for the movie was AWESOME. One part I didn’t like was that the actor playing Elvis kept going in and out of sounding like him. I know that’s crazy but, Elvis’s was unique and so was his voice. I also felt that from the time where Priscilla had Lisa Marie to the end of the movie, pieces were missing. All in all, it really was a good movie.
Finally an actress who can, and doesn’t shy away from playing a 14 year old Priscilla. Usually they have an adult actress play her to gloss over the fact Elvis was dating a child.
You mean "finally, TODAY, they don't shy away" because back in the day...80's/90's, no one gave AF as it was pretty much common knowledge that dudes in their 20's hooked up and married chicks in their teens in the 50's and all the decades prior, my great grandfather for example started dating my great grandmother in the 40's, He was 21 She was 17, they stayed married until her death....."OH NOES what a monster he and every other guy back then must have been!!" Some yes, but obviously it's just the way it was, like slavery it doesn't make it right but you can't change the past so really Who Gives AF?? The world has obviously progressed each decade since then...until about 10 years ago when everyone started focusing on How they change what happened before...Here's a newsflash YOU CAN'T!! So FFS stop crying over s**t that happened decades ago, be happy we at least knew how to move on and pray we can can get to that point again.

They keep saying they had no idea Pricilla was so young or that he created her image. Where were you? This is all common knowledge. The whole story is common knowledge. This was not a normal relationship and it’s not romantic.

You can keep making excuses for him but the fact remains it was unnatural for a grown man to want a child. He groomed her for 4 years with the intention of making her into what he wanted. There is nothing romantic about that story.
I’m glad the actress is being acknowledged for her role. However, the real Priscilla seems selfish, who was she protecting if not her only child ? Her relationship with her daughter and grandchildren seems(ed) awful.
The telling of this story is never ending. I don’t care.Hollywood will continue to roll out whatever parties story of this legend, as long as it’s profitable. I like Elvis who was never cancelled and the same goes for Jerry Seinfeld who dated an underage girl. There are many more for that matter. I truly had nothing but good thoughts and best wishes for Priscilla and Lisa Marie . I was so saddened by Lisa Marie’s death and her young son. I wish Priscilla and her remaining family the best. I hope they have found peace in all of the tragedy. Elvis’s granddaughter is an actress. Her last name is Keough I think.

Elvis was already in a relationship with Anita he was still with her even when he went to Germany for 18 months she went down there to be with him , the 2weeks he had left in Germany when he knew Priscilla, Anita wasn’t there 2weeks he had left, Priscilla says that she was there helping Elvis grieve about his mom that’s a lie , it was Anita who was there going through for Elvis and his family, before Priscilla was stalking Elvis , she was no pure 14 year old and she always gotten her away getting with men in the military, and where was her parents allowing there child do whatever, I really don’t believe that Priscilla made out with Elvis in Germany , there was a letter from priscilla to Elvis begging him to talk to her parents for her to come down to Memphis to be to with Elvis, Priscilla didn’t care that Elvis was in a serious relationship Anita woods she knew, anything that comes out of the she devil mouth make up story, what’s really sad Lisa didn’t want her so called mother and that lady Sofia doing this movie knowing that Priscilla and Sofia the way priscilla betrayed Elvis that wasn’t true , this woman hurt grandkids by lawsuit so she can give Elvis money to her son that looks like he is on drugs, Lisa and her mother haven’t or talk for 8 years up to her death, this woman comes up with a story her daughter invite her for a drink when Lisa couldn’t stand her mother.
This movie is a remake. Priscilla's book was already filmed for television years ago. On the age issue...by her own admission Priscilla claims to have not been a typical 14 year old and was wise beyond her years...also they were never intimate until their wedding night. Just sayin'.
Exactly. Elvis was a mama's boy and she spoiled him to death and he was not worldly the way Priscilla was. He was reeling from the death of his mother, was horribly homesick and feared his career was over and she listened to his sorrows and wormed her way into his life. He mistook a listening ear for a sincere heart and that was his mistake. Had his mother survived, waiting for him at home, no one would know who Priscilla was.
Truly, I was not that crazy about this movie. I felt parts were missing especially after the birth of Lisa Marie. Would not want to sit through it twice. Loved the movie Elvis with Austin Butler and saw it over and over. Not the same feeling with this one. Felt like no excitement in this one Disappointed.
It's amazing to me that people who probably have never read her book or know anything about the real story have such strong opinions! Yes she was very young when they met, but he was very respectful and patient with her. There was nothing sexual going on. That is obviously conveyed in the movie, book, and Priscilla has stated that numerous times! Predators dont marry their victims. They were in love and she still loves him to this day.
