Man, I really had a bad time editing this one.
4k 60 in two different formats, the colour grading is all over the place... I really need to practice more. Next one will be better.

Sorry for the editing on this one, I had a friend help me and we got some high quality footage, my pc simply cant handle. Mixing in my own one made it even worse. I had so many crashes.... I'll have to figure something out. For the boards, the tldr answer would be: More similar than different. Both good. But the Trip is the more refined board, but the Sled impresses with a very affordable price. You wont go wrong with either of them!

I have a Prism Theory V2, so I'm partial to Prism and although the Trip is very nice, I'm not sure I need or even care about the features that differ from the Sled. For the better price, the Sled will do everything I want.

You mention same ride height, so same drop? I thought that the crescent drop was an essential feature for that geometry, ora at least for its longevity

Yeah the decks are about 2-3/2.5 cm dropped each, measured from standing platform to the truck mounting spot, about the same. What do you mean by the second one. I cannot say that it makes to board more durable. I'm no engineer :D But it adds comfort!

The drop shape makes a difference in stiffness and WHERE the flex is at on each of the boards. You can see during the flex tests, the Trip is flexing in the middle while the drops remain stiff. In the Prism, the deck is flexing more uniformally across the board, with a little extra flex in the drops. Think of a floppy flat piece of paper vs a piece of paper that you bend a concave curve into. On the Trip, we design where we want it to bend, and that’s in the body of the board.

Hi Michael! I haven't seen much information out there about Pantheon's Fantail. I'd love to hear your thoughts as an experienced rider in comparison to say a Prana or Trip sometime. Thanks for another informative video see you in the next one!

@@skate-horizons my opinion as uninformed it might be is that the sled is very much an excellent board but the trip is still superior even though I have never ridden one lol. But the sled graphic is sickkkk and if the tropicalia is supposed to be a series I can’t wait to see what other similar artworks will be useson future prism boards. I did the same thing as you and added a loaded fathom tail nub. Mine is pink. But since i use the cal 7 97mm wheels on my sled, the deck never makes contact with the ground and the entire board just swings up without popping. It feels like stepping on a rake lol. In summary , sled is excellent value and excellent commuter and ldp board i approve.
