Challenge Concept: Cross should attempt to clear a Grandmaster Nightfall (GM) using the "worst possible build" suggested by the community. This build must follow these rules: No Blue Weapons: The loadout cannot include any blue-tier weapons. Champion Stun Capabilities: The loadout must have items capable of stunning Champions. Minimum Armor Level: All armor must be at a minimum of 1990 Power Level. Community-Recommended Build: The community suggests the worst possible loadout and subclass combination that still meets the above criteria. LFG Rules: Cross must attempt this GM using a group formed via the "Looking For Group" (LFG) system. The goal is to see: How many times he gets kicked from the group before the GM even starts. Whether he can successfully complete the GM with this suboptimal build. This challenge would be a fun and engaging way to see how far skill and teamwork can take a player, even with the most unfavorable loadout.
Personally I like using drengr's with hazardous, but I prefer to use it alongside something like diamond lance or knockout and shield throw for a fully ranged playstyle instead of just using consecration.
I honestly find that Sentinel is the most consistently strong user of Hazardous Propulsion using either Void Wall or Vortex grenades with Controlled Demolition, Offensive Bulwark, Undermining, Remnants, Starvation, and Persistence with just Bolstering Detonation for class ability recharge. It doesn't have access to the Transcendence dps rotations, but unlike Prismatic it will always have access to at least one tool that will take a completely fucked situation and turn it around completely. Shield Throw with Controlled Demolition is a full heal that also provides some extra overshield, the Void Wall does up to 5k base damage with the grenade fragments, and Controlled Demolition, and the weaken buffs up the Exodus Rockets to do over 4k base damage to anything the player choses. It basically has a damage Super's worth of damage ready every 20 seconds. The rotation for Champions is literally just Vortex/Void Wall into a Rally Barricade and it automatically chunks off around half of the Champion's health even without a Void surge. From there the 35% rocket buff will amp up any Aggressive or Adaptive rocket up to the point where it will chunk off the rest of the Champion's health in a single shot (even with Bipod). Overloads sometimes die outright to the setup without even needing a rocket if Void Surge is active.
Prismatic titan is good, but staying alive is so hard when you compare to invis hunter or devour warlock. Just give us the smal hammer and solar invictus and that should be enough, but please change the option we got they are terrible
Trust me invis is not as effective as you think. You can sneak out yes but if you're already under dmg something like slaming dmg it's toast. I mostly rely on healclip these days. It's just so good
Just devour with bloodline and profit. lol but for real that gun made my hazardous propulsion the only build I’ll rock right now. It was already great but between devour and then the mod the that give you over shield for killing weakened target. Basically get 2 health bars off a kill. Then knock out consecration in a pinch and dying is a thing of the past.
uh no. with buffs coming to prismatic titan, if they were to give it sol invictus or banner of war both of them would likely receive a nerf. And that would be the death of solar tian and strand titan. they might as well remove the two of them from the game at that point.
Titan is the supposed up close melee/cqc class but would absolutely get destroyed trying to what that Hunter build did. Just more evidence showing how bad Titan is compared to Hunter and Warlock right now. Even with pre-nerf HoiL Titans aren’t keeping up with that ability spam.
@@thunderchief7256 I mean my Titan can run a GM just fine on any subclass right now… the point is RELATIVE effectiveness is heavily skewed (on Prismatic) with Titans having clunky play loops and ability cycling and effectiveness COMPARED TO HUNTER AND WARLOCK.
@@Gliscor_ Exact same play loop as Solar with Pyrogale before Final Shape dropped so it‘s not novel and lacks a little in survivability without sunspots (knockout cooldown hurts it) Also has poor loop outside of being Transcendent.

Pair it with Hoil + synthos or assassins and synthos and you have a GM carrying build, one shotting multiple champions with one slam Knockout doesn't have a cool down EDIT: I've just read it does have a cooldown, (can someone explain this lol? Really wasn't clear to me) but honestly I haven't even noticed it. And I've been clearing GMs without dying with this build
Whoever submitted their version of the titan build needs to rethink it. I made a prismatic build with the chest piece using the fragments that give extra prismatic energy with kinetic weapons, the one that severs enemies damage, gain DR when near enemies and enemies explode when defeated by prismatic abilites. Weapons should be revision for anti barrier reasons on the 4 burst mode with any HC for overload if you like or just use a rocket sidearm and any pve god roll rocket with a matching surge mod. Make sure to have 100’s on strength, res, and intellect. This build gives fast supers and prismatic with the added bonus/free damage from the rocket chest piece.
I have a very similar build! I used the extra transcendence energy kinetic weapon boost. I also use the fragment where you get extra dark transcendence energy with a light buff. Not only do I have the rockets to deal damage, but I can spam transcendence and consecration as if it's a second super. As much as I hate it, consecration knockout is top tier purely because of the healing and 50% melee damage boost. Khvostov itself does amazing add clear.
If you want a perfect high end prismatic build for titan, use this full combo of stuff. Twilight arsenal. I used it primarily for the weaken. If you want to as well use one as a direct then toss the other 2 at your feet to and time the buff, as it goes out toss the next one but run and pick up the 3rd. The timer is funky, the group timer resets on pick-up but they are the sameish. Thruster. The ability to use your class ability and move is crazy good. Strafe lift specifically. It is the best because it carries momentum the best and you can bounce off walls with it easily, it's also the fastest way to move when just comparing jumps to one another if you know how to use it. (I'm willing to teach how to actually use it if anyone wants to know.) Shield throw. Because it's a good yeet-able melee, and second chance. If you NEED the hit for some reason or another, hit the scene (walls, floors and ceilings) around the enemy. Suppressor grenade. Because it's a anti-overload and it functions the exact same as the electrified snare. Diamond lance. Because of the long range stop to anything (including champs, maximally unstoppables), and it's a little cherry on top. Drenger's lash. Because it's a perfect panic button in PVE, with anti-unstoppable capabilities. Facet of dawn, facet of hope, facet of blessing, facet of courage, facet of purpose, facet of grace. The not subclass stuff. Weapons= K) Monte Carlo E) up to you but something with good damage. P) up to you but something with good damage. Armor= Most of these are up to you because you can easily get away with so much, so I'm going to just text what is needed. Second chance because it's a good portion of the builds capabilities. With impact induction and focusing strike. Recuperation on your legs. Reaper on your mark. If anyone tries it out please let me know what E and P y'all use. Have a good rest of y'all's day.
The titan build wasn't even a build. There was no synergy, no gameplay loop. You could have seen the same exactly gameplay if you used any subclass mixed with hazardous propulsion.
I have the ultimate weaken build for pvp. Stag with weaken nade artifact with child of old gods and axion nade. also put fragment that makes axions better on void so if u hold it, it spawns another tracker. u always have child rift to weaken too and weapon is whatever u want
Yeah Hazardous works much nicer, I feel with knockout, and diamond lance using shield throw for extra surviving and a melee with range/airborne enemies. Shackle is much easier but supress nade works well too. Been using the call with slice and vorpal, oversoul edict with voltshot, and either dragons breath or Gjallahorn. The call is unstop while the phlse handles anti barrier and overload with voltshot. I use oversoul becuase the faster firing allows to get rockets super quick and in 1 mag dump of a thick enemy instead of 2 with other volt pulses.
Ive been running a prismatic ridge cap build with consecration and diamond lance aspect of course. Pretty fun, doing gms and all that. Im surprised I haven't seen a build with it yet. The build would be better if they fixed the lances and consecration shuttering stasis crystals
I was using basically that same exact Titan build except with Diamond Lance, crafted Frenzy/Reconstruction Posterity, and a Point Contact Cannon Brace/ HoiL mark. PCCB stuns the overloads on a Consecration hit because of jolt, and any trash adds that get caught up in the jolt create Diamond Lances. Oh my Crux had Recon/Bipod. I was never hiding like he was at the end. I was in the shit the entire time. Whatever fragment gives you extra Trancendance off of Kinetic kills. Prismatic nades also stun the OL champs.
It's gonna take an incredible build to de-throne a hunter build with inmost light. Inmost light solves prismatic hunter and pushes it far beyond anything in the game
Outbreak was the wrong pick for the titan build, Cross is right about the Suppresor Nade pick Ive been workshopping a build close to that setup for all GM coverage, but ive got Collective Obligation on with Suppresor nades + Weakening so you always have emergency overload in your back pocket, either from the nade or Void Leech (the leeched suppresion will still overload even with anti barrier pulse!) I know getting the damage boost with rocket sidearm is nice, but i personally use a stasis fusion with Chill Clip (i like the Vow fusiom with Demo as it feeds back into the suppressor, but Riptide is valid) for consistent Overload and fairly consistent Unstoppable Eff off Drengrs entirely, shouldnt need it if youre running Consecration + Strand Melee to score an ignition, this alongside the stasis fusion gives *MORE* than enough Unstop, run Knockout as well for a nice in a pinch high damage burst heal Courage for Damage boost, the one that returns melee on light ability kills (idk the facet names lets see you name them all : p ), the rest are sort of personal preference but i tend to go with stuff that boosts the stats i need and the damage resist when surrounded Twilight Arsenal because Uh Big funny weakening axes Surge matching Rocket with Explosive Light, of some variety and youre good to go (I have a for fun variant of the build using Nechrochasm and Aberrant for survival + Apex full sending Solar surges, but you can bend to whatever element as Nechrochasm is your main driver there everything else is just burst/major slapping)
Take the tian build, switch out something for facet of command, use two tailed fox, the new solar rocket sidearm, and legendary kivostov. Two tailed fox suppresses on its own
Tried making a Titan build today. Looked at the exotic class item combos. Got sad. Switched to different class. EDIT: Lightbulb moment happened. The arc conductor Ergo Sum sword both activates the restoration from precious scars and the Spark of Beacons Fragment on Arc which blinds everything with Arc special weapons. I'm having fun now.
It’s a weapon that gives devour and weaken to every build without being on the void subclass. It plays into one of the best perks on the artifact, its grant survivability where there often is none, its always gonna get a burn modifier in Game this season making it even stronger, and it has a champion mod. All of these things are great for GM and Master content. What’s not to like? There isn’t another weapon that does all of that at the moment. Abberhant Action is close but not as strong because Bloodline shoots two bullets for one trigger pull and AA is solar (there is no Solar burn for GMs this season or at least there hasn’t been any yet). You’re gonna see it a lot until we get a new artifact

I don't like giving up a fragment for jolt to stun champs when supressor can do it for free. You just have to time your nades right after they teleport
Hey hunter main, what is the dodge button you guys bind on keyboard ? I use the default for warlock and titan but for hunter i can't dodge to the direction i want with it
Why do all my titans out there never use buried bloodline for devour? I see the hunters are smart enough to use it. That would solve 90% of these "survivability" problems
I don't really think there really is too much you can pull off in pvp with a build anymore because of the nerfs to abilities and super cool downs...nothing outside of what pvp exotics might assist you in
I'm so glad someone said it! The survivability on that build would have been cut hard if it didn't have the cyrt roll. So often cross was in a pinch and stayed alive while throwing nades, proc'ing woven mail. I think there would have been criticisms from cross on the survivability otherwise.
I have 57 out of 64 hunterclass items but I still don't have spirit of in most light and the woven mail on grenade. and that was the only role I was looking for when I was AFK farming
That is pretty much the best Titan setup you can run and it was still a little "meh." I think Prismatic Titan just has subpar options compared to the other two classes.
Prismatic Titan just illustrated the deficiencies already present in the other subclasses… lack of aspect and ability variety/creativity. Color coded shoulder charge abilities and slide melee ASPECTS… fewest number of supers (Twilight Arsenal made Void the first subclass with 3 options)… the list goes on. Prismatic just shined a light on the lack of variety and the culmination of all the nerfs to Titans ability to be upclose.
Look imma say this before watching the video and if I'm wrong I'll put an addendum on it. Pitting anything against Prismatic Hunter is unfair to the one you're pitting against Prismatic Hunter. 17 Minutes: 3 Deaths, 16 Minutes: 0 Deaths 😕

I can understand because Banner has no ties to anything about strand… But what I don’t understand is why Diamond Lance over Tectonic Harvesr when you have Glacial Grenade AND spirit of Hoarfrost
@@NecroAsphyxiaTectonic Harvest has no active play/ability. It also would basically negate Behemoth since Titans have so few ability options on the other subclasses.
@@InsightfulAU no. By swapping Diamond Lance for Harvest we actually give Behemoth a niche as Behemoth would have access to Diamond Lance where as Prismatic would not. As it is now, Behemoth has no reason to exist as Prismatic can make lances, had the melee and the super, and has the glacial grenade.

Tectonic Harvest basically requires Howl of the Storm as a partner for crystal generation (along with Hoarfrost so that every ability is generating crystals for melee/movement and frost armor). Stasis Titan doesn’t run without crystals because that feeds its ability loop (clunky as it may be). Diamond Lance was it’s “variety” by giving it some range and a slight play style change. Using DL on Prismatic gave the “variety” stasis feel without needing crystals because it could feed transcendence which is the only area where Prismatic Titan actually feels competent. But it goes back to lack of options… Hunters we’re always going to get Duskfields, Warlocks were always going to get Cold Snaps (because exotics) and Titan was left with Glaciers which is fine on Stasis but doesn’t have an exotic to flex them otherwise.
the titan build is better with diamond lance & pulse grenades w/ jolt instead. also dont even use a rocket launcher just use a envious assassin edge transit w/bait and switch for the heavy it'll out dps the rockets by a mile. when its boss dps time throw your axes, hit your primary & special shots to get bait & switch ready to proc, dodge to unload all exodus rockets, then swap to bait and switch GL and blow your load. it's incredibly strong.

As a titan main on console i know people calm down. I feel like I'm really the only titan that likes the whole tclap knockout dl combo that you got in the very beginning of final shape. I just cant seem to get that bonk hammer keybind trick to work on controller. I know this is a video but i also notice cross not uncharged melee certain enemies that are 1 tap. He just shoots so tjat makes me think does the trick not work with the strand melee and consencration?
Titan build was a bit mid. Hunter build was much better except under over and coyote are absolutely not needed. Under over is negligible and you get dodges back in like 8 seconds in pve and to use half an exotic class item is a bit of a waste.
Those prismatic builds feels like the same we saw before. Imost light and spaw abilitys. especially the hunter one that you use the same class item, just changed some weapons. clearly we have a meta build for the 3 classes and we are tired to see. Hard to move on of those because they are to OP.
lol, no problem with the Op builds. I'm talking about the prismatic subclass. And this video is about build battles. There is no reason the post a build that is a small variation from the op build that we saw before. becouse you cant compete with the original.
