I always say for me like prison never scared me for the r💯ape stories or violence (not because im some tough guy) i been to the county 22 separate times, seen some violence inflicted some as well, in the stre, i been shot twice, stabbed in the head jumped . BUT ITS THE MENTAL ASPECT, ESSEX COUNTY NEWARK nj jail, we have something called quarantine long before covid started, THEY KILLED A KID IN A SEPARATE BUILDING AND WE WAS ON LOCK FOR LIKE 6 weeks in 09, like literally 23-1 is more like you go out 630 am today 15-25 minutes, you might not comeback out till 830 tomorrow night, im natrually obnoxious & a people person, I CAN NOT BE CONFINED LIKE THAT, i done walked 1000s of miles in my cell every county stay , ay chadd i really like that “IM ALREADY KINDA TOO LIGHT TOO FIGHT too thin too win” if im being honest with my self, i been dpd before 3 of my “HOMIES” beat me for 31 seconds but i know thats nothing compared too what can go down in a cell, but what scares me or really changed my ways. Wa looking at a 15 year sentence fighting it incarcerated for lil less then 7 months 2 years over all & really struggling with being locked in all day(this was during the peak of covid) it was horrible, like as a human i don’t think we should be locked in a cell like that, i used too loose my mind like i gotta get outta here gotta get outta here. My bunky was convicted & got I believe 108 years 2 bodies & attempt, & i seen all the gangster and tough guy shit leave right out of him. I wasn’t taking 15 years soo chances were i might of gotten much longer blowing trial, & fortunately things worked out case dismissed & october will be 4 years since the last time i was incarcerated, BUT AGAIN THE MENTAL ASPECT OF IT, & i wasn’t tortured by c.o’s i aint even do much time but the time I did had such a significant and profound impact on my perspective & mentality plus chadd ya videos are a blessing 💯 and re assurance or reminder that, yea I better remember what locked in a cell for 30 plus hours at a time & the potential years i could of been doing, thats what keeps me out

salute. had crazy how get tough guys brag about how crazy they was violent how much money n get to feds n become humble n see the light first day in got life in track stay out way avoid fights no knives nothing . nnothibg wrong just weird all that energy leaves in penitentiary! lol

They demolished Division 1 and 2 last year at Cook County jail. I’ve been there along time ago and yeah it’s a wild jungle for sure . I was blessed I wasn’t there long and never went to the Pen . County was a wake up call for me

These dudes look up to you, Chad. Watching your channel evolve into what it's become is badass. Quick question, why haven't you had anyone on that's been through Lakeview or any NY shock facility? My dad did Lakeview shock twice in the early 90s. He was 16 days from completion and he got recycled. Some wild abusive super cop shit goes down in those facilities.

One thing I've noticed about your interviews is most of these guys were addicts. Personally, I feel this is where our country has failed its citizens. Instead of getting them really help, they get thrown into war.

i have watched every episode and read you’re book through the audio version “i want a physical copy bad man” i have been too prison twice in Tennessee and did a couple years in county’s as well, im all legal free now and married doing the best i ever have, but i am still a recovering/functioning drug addict and severe alcoholic. I am about to actually enter a facility to try to help with my alcohol dependency i wish i had your book to take with me buddy cause i rlly like the way you carry yourself and your an intelligent man like myself whom just has problems that we will fix in time. now im only 20 minutes into this interview and this man seems like he has alot and it probably gets better/worse at times but upstairs aint clicking right. i feel he has some mental isues more than ptsd and i would have loved if he would have opened up more man cause the more real the shit hits home the more lives it saves. man after i heard about his butcher job and how he wasted it now i trully understand and know for a fucking fact this man is mentally challenged 🤦‍♂️

Hey Chad been watching your videos for a little while and I heard the videos of book and I wanted to read it. Been struggling lately man don’t got the money to afford to buy one so I went to the public library and they actually had to lend it from another library for me to read it. Great book brother sorry I couldn’t purchase one right now just don’t have the funds.
