I thought this was near impossible. I tried it a few times having all her weapons, but I have to say that discarding her handgun is the best thing you can do. Rifle Ammo's drop increases considerably with this, and her machine gun is pretty useful, because you can get more melee chances. The last boss gave me some pressure, but the ending was pretty good.
