Yes, she well and truly fucked up there with Linda. Shame on Meg. It’s only because of the guilt of letting Linda down and that no twat wants to talk to her, nor help themselves, is why she feels she can’t help anyone out of the prison, which she’ll still bloody well do when she returns as a prison officer, then everything will be hunky dory again to everyone in the series.

It's always amazed me how self centered everyone is, and not realizing that something is wrong with Bea. The only one who knows is Kate the killer quack, and she won't tell anyone else! I know she's reading this medical books to confirm her suspicions, but she could at least alert Fletcher that something is wrong. For over 35+ years, I have become so emotionally attached to an out of date cast of characters, that I feel like they're my family. It's the only series I have felt such a connection. I was addicted to Friends for the 10 years it ran, and never missed an episode. But Prisoner is a different thing altogether. Guess I need a vacation in isolation or something. lol

I've always considered this to be a pretty good episode. It had 3 significant moments, Sandy taking over as Top Dog, Meg finally deciding to return as a screw, and Bea admitting she was ill, even though her self-diagnosis was wrong.

I've never understood why the screws (and Meg) bother trying to ask the victims of beatings what happened, especially in front of the prisoner who did the beating. They know fine well there's a no lag rule and that they'd never put themselves at risk by telling. And yet every time it's "Who hit you" and "what happened" and then they act all pissed off when nobody will tell them, as if they were expecting anything else.

Telecom are taking their sweet time getting back to Lizzie regarding checking out the phone calls she's been receiving....Thank goodness Meg has finally come to her senses somewhat and admitted defeat regarding her position of counsellor. She wasn't the greatest of officers, but she sure was shit as a counsellor. Going back to being an officer is the best of a bad job in the circumstances, quite literally.

They have put the episodes on demand on Channel 10, but the format is per season, so not as easy to jump straight in.

The writing for Lil and Bev is very inconsistent, one minute they are supposed to be hard nuts and the next minute the likes of Hazel is telling them both to hand their cigarettes over and they do it or a few episodes back where Doreen pushes Lil out the way and Lil does nothing back
