Phyllis is such a crook, Brandy got $50, brandy and cigarettes, and Phyllis wants to give her $10 or $20 and call it square. So she gets the brady, the packs of cigarettes and $30 (or more), while Brandy did all the work.

Stephen Fraser No....please! I think a little "Pixie" will go a long way! Keeping her around too long would be overkill! Often, there is a thin line between humorous and funny ----- and ridiculous and annoying! I hope the story writers know when to draw the line and quit while they are ahead! :)

Network Ten in Australia was going to have a Pixie spin off a half hour sitcom of her character but it never came about. Judy McBurney was very critical of the way her character finally left the series. She didn't like it. (I won't say how, in case someone hasn't seen it)

@@markxxx21 I couldn't blame her. Judy was such a wonderful actress. Gone way too soon. I was hoping she would recover from her cancer. I know a young nan that had eye cancer as a baby. He's in his 20s now with an artificial eye. And kactress Hunter Tylo from the soap B&B gave birth to a daughter back in the early 2000s and she had the same thing. Hunter said they had to give the poor infant chemo and replaced her eye with an artificial one. She said her daughter got so sick during her treatment. She survived and is now a teenager.

I think the Brandy /Laura storyline was actually quite good .this is my first go-round ,so am I to assume that storyline is finished? I think they could have done a lot more with that. Brandy ,the female Norman Bates. looks like the dominant personality has finally won out. Slight goof with the writers: Valium is an anti-anxiety drug not an antidepressant drug and you would have to take a ton of it to overdose on it only a few pills would not do that. The Stone's actually made a song about it: Mother's Little Helper .they were actually talking about Valium--the little yellow pill.

33:30........well, I know for a fact that incidental music was used on the penultimate episode of "Young Ramsay" because I was just watching it on my old VCR yesterday. The scene where Ray (who played David Andrews in PCBH) asks receptionist Cassie to marry him and vet Peter Ramsay suddenly realises he's going to lose the woman he loves but hasn't found the courage to admit that to her. So he goes a walk in the woods as the rain comes down. With this music in the background. Small world, isn't it? I'm looking forward to watching the last episode tomorrow. I loved that show but I reckon I'm the only person on earth who remembers it.

Uh Oh! It's Paul.What a beautiful bride Pixie makes. Phyllis please leave that poor girl alone. Laura I mean. Ann is fitting in nicely now.I have got to get a new PC! The one I have right now is so old and there is a fan inside the tower part that makes an irritating racket, I can barely hear the episode. Poor Lizzie might have had a heart attack from seeing Laura lying on the floor that way. The ministers children are usually the worst. I know some and they are all rebellious. Did Pixie call Bea, Billie? 23:03?Pixie is a pretty good actress.

Doreen was cute, and she knew how to respond to fear very well, I could stand Doreen, but Maxine is annoying and now this Pixie. What is wrong with the writers and the production of this show? See, I watched this show's quarter part from the pilot (beginning) to when Jim came on the show, but I am watching this again after 39 years and I didn't know that they made all of these casting errors on the show. I like it, but not as much as when I first watched it. I didn't know that they were going to remove all of these others off the show and so it makes the series so different and not as well written when they removed Denise Morgan as one of the writers.

@ 12:03 - Anyone else find something wrong in this scene? Phyllis is drinking the bottle of brandy she got from Carter. That would be all well and good if it had not been for Carter using the brandy bottle to slash her wrist before this scene! Phyllis even tells Lizzie that Carter has a bottle too. But, Carter was only given one bottle from the repairman. So, unless Wentworth has some magical portal to move between alternate Wentworth universes, Phyllis should not have a bottle of brandy.

Oh no, the first of Anne's children, the perpetually happy photographer Paul, has arrived. Standby for some pointless "outside Wentworth" shenanigans with _another_ in Prisoner's long run of irritating beta males who arrive, move into a beige set with brown furniture, bore the shit of out you, get caught up in some random unconnected plot, and then vanish the second their contract expires, never to be mentioned again. 😂

Chris Hallam (David Sheldon in this episode) appears later in the Nine Network mini series Glass Babies alongside Rowena Wallace (Anne Griffin) and Belinda Davey (Hazel Kent). He played the henchman of Brendan Keller in that show. There is a rather interesting scene in that where he is dressed up in drag, pretending to be Deborra Lee Furness's character (called Joan Simpson) and trying to kill Rowena's character Gloria McCrae.
