@@ririsputra5116 Yeah but Denis didn't like it, thought it wasn't enough like Vangelis so approached Zimmer, who at first declined but then Denis came to his door and showed him the film, him being Hans who invited Ben Wallfisch over too because Hans literally didn't have the time (he was on tour). Apparently after they finished the film, none of them said a word (I think the editor was there too, but I might be wrong about that) and instead just gravitated toward the piano, a synthesiser and a guitar and there they came up with the theme. Hans left on tour the next day and basically prodded Ben along throughout the writing process, encouraging him to get more experimental, but Hans gives Ben all the credit for writing the score, you can see this in at least one interview. Hans returned from tour and they recorded the album with a CS80 synth that Hans hadn't used since The Dark Knight, it broke after six weeks and that was when they decided they'd finished the score. Personally I adore the 2049 score, but I'd really love to hear what Johannsson originally had in mind.
@@restlessentertainment9760 this is really informative, thank you so much. You sound like you know quite a bit about what youre talking about and i was wondering if you could tell me what instrument was used in the v beginning of "through falling snow"?
