PRISTINE HONDA QA50 1974 

My Dad bought my brother and me, each one of these in early seventies so much fun super reliable. Thanks Dad ! Miss you so much !!

I was about 12 when my dad bought a well worn qa50 around the early 2000s. We had to fit a carberator from a weed wacker and it fowled sparkplugs fast, so I got to learn how to clean sparkplugs. It was missing a rear fender, so I folded one out of aluminum sheet metal and extended it with a flap of rubber. It wasn't pretty, but it was mine. I had so much fun on that crazy thing.

1969 to 72 has color matched tank and fender .wide rubber wrap on sides of tank..only in red,yellow or green.

I remember going to the fair back in the 70s and they had 20 of these QAs you could ride in a small dirt circle. Oh....the memories!

I finally found a 1970 qa50 un green. was looking for a yellow one. paint color can be changed.

Looking again @ the video 2 nd gear will jump BEFORE the rear tyre will wear out .From someone who raced em btw kerosine in the unleaded does same job & easier to obtain.Trev NZ

My dad bought my older brother one of these when he was 7, I was 5, my brother made the mistake of teaching me how to ride it....many fights later my dad bought me one exactly like it.

My dad brought one of these home for my brothers and I when I was in the first grade. It set us forth on a lifelong hobby. Thanks Dad.

I had this exact minibike and it was best memory of my childhood !!

I just found one as a barn find, all original in mint condition.

I had the exact bike with orange gas tank when I was little and would ride all day with my friends in the woods and slag dumps around pittsburgh. I was the only one who didn't regularly brake down the bigger kids on their czs, huskies, Indians you name it never made it through the day

Love that QA 50. Hondas are absolutely bullet proof. So many hondas are 30, 40, 50 years old and still on there first top end or have not had a rebuild yet and still run like new.

I was 10 in 1984 ,bought a qa50 for $ 50.00. Was candy apple green. Oh how I miss it.

I had one I bought in the 80s for 30 bucks. I think it was a 2 speed and second gear didn’t work. I brought to a motorcycle shop to repair 2 years of empty promises and I got it back with the engine in pieces in a bucket

That's one small bike for man, one giant leap for pitbike manufacturing. I saw a cb 450k caferacer in the background, i have the same. I would not have believed that it would end up in the museum. 20 years ago, the guys mocked my bike and now it's a fashionable classic.

Nice, I tried to get one of these at a farm auction last spring, it went for a crazy amount, and it rough!

They were gutless compared to the z 50 , but it's the first bike I have ever ridden

i have a 1973 Honda QA50 and very curious where can i find parts and only want to restore it and make it stay original also with paint it sucks trying to keep them up and going and would hate to see it dead in the water and not working and rusting unless i was to find a place that'll do it for me. i wont ever sale the 73 even if some 1 offered more than what its worth .

I know lots about them, that tank IS NOT original to the bike, I had one just like it as a kid brand new and the tank was painted yellow to match the plastic fenders. sorry to bust your bubble but it's not complete original dude.
