12:30 A quick answer to the difference bw MoIC and IRR is that: 1) both measure the return on investment of an opportunity in private equity 2) the MoIC is the quickest way of knowing how much cash you’ll get out of the investment over the amount of invested cash 2) the IRR is a longer calculation taking into account the time value of money. As 1€ today is worth more than 1€ tomorrow (opportunity cost, inflation, etc.), the shorter the holding period, the higher the IRR.

No doubts , A good way of growing and saving your money is through investing . You don't need to have much before you can invest. "That little money you have now can make you millions if you invest it wisely". I wasnt financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing is a grand choice I made..

@@Alexedmartin.< Alright so generally, investing requires higher knowledge. For this reason, It's important to have a solid support structure (financial consultant) to guide you through especially in asset picking. I operate with (REGINA LOUISE COLLARO) an investment advisor who partners with a licensed wealth management firm. For the record, the experience has been the best for my finance. She is quite popular for her services so you might have heard of her. She made me financially stable investing through her help, now I earn on a monthly basis through her passive income strategy...So I’ll advise you do get a good Investment advisor for yourself.

@Vic Vic I have had the intentions of starting investing. But I always thought it was late and I think I need to stop procrastinating. I will definitely 🔍 Regina Louise Collaro and see what she can advise .Thanks a lot . This was of so much help to me .

@Vic Vic You are right, I am one of many who has benefited from investing with Regina Louise Collaro. 2020 is an unforgettable year in my life, back then I lost my job due to covid and had no reason to live. Regina made a good life possible for me through passive income and I owe her my life. To be honest, I feel like she is an angel of who was sent to help those who are suffering financially.

The insane stress of missing one small detail and causing a deal to fall apart, the dread of defending another deal to the IC, the politics, preparing agendas, taking notes, getting that intralinks notification that the data room just opened at 7pm on a saturday, staying up until 4am creating models 10x more complex than could be possibly necessary, working 100 hours a week for weeks on end with no acknowledgement, competing with a bunch of type A sycophantic humorless freaks for brownie points, completely thankless, soulless work, wasting the best years of your life enriching people wealthier than you ever will be given the glory days of this industry are a decade plus behind us. oh the prestige of being a private equity financier - does it still sound like a great job😂?

You wouldn't be so "insanely stressed" if you liked it, were good at it, and truly understood the advantage of being in such a position with the network/connections you build overtime.
@ml1324
@ml1324 Год назад
@@pedram7sd What a disgusting comment. 1st, the job is all about how things are structured... you can be great at it, outstandingly smart, all you want... you still need to put in A LOT of time to structure each model. 2nd and foremost, you are naive at best if you think "connections" will get you somewhere... connections are only important as long as YOU are a connection yourself... that is, if you aren't outstandingly wealthy yourself, you'll NEVER be given real growth possibilities - if you are smart, you'll just be employed in higher positions until an invisible ceiling they'll never confess exists, so they will have you working like crazy, but you will never belong to their club, let alone get the money they get. Keep being that arrogant and by a certain age, you might be balding, watching back your youthful years gone, all for money you could have made easily otherwise., or at least you could have made just a little less money by doing something way less demanding...

Great video. On a totally unrelated question, I wish to know what are the weekly IB hours like compared to PE. Thanks.
@USASPORTSCARDS
@USASPORTSCARDS 4 года назад
They are fairly similar at junior levels. Private equity associates probably work 10 or so hours less per week, on average. 60-70 hours in PE versus 70-80 hours in IB. Depending on deal flow, this can ramp up to 100 hours for either.

@USASPORTSCARDS
@USASPORTSCARDS 2 года назад
@@blackflag6976 A lot of people make the same argument. If I could go back, I would’ve become a software engineer. I think the skill is much more advantageous in almost all aspects vs. the finance/IB skill-set. I worked just as hard as most software engineers, if not much harder, and got burnt out. I went to the buyside doing M&A at a F500 company after banking, but I still make half what the equivalent software engineer would make, and I still work more hours.

Why does the accent turn me off? Something about the speaker striking me as not being as qualified as he projects. Nonetheless, I’m listening.
@tm1rt2vv8i
@tm1rt2vv8i 3 года назад
Because he does not have Received Pronunciation (RP), but rather a multi-cultural accent, which is not desirable and is not associated with the upper classes, or a good background. Don’t get me wrong, this has nothing to do with the money you have, but rather your background and schooling. Also those with the RP accent tend to be educated at top schools, and they are the ones at the top of the top, and well spoken.

Question 5 of the brain teasers wasn't a question, it needed a time element to it. Unless it's a trick question and the answer is just 30 mph.
