Noel Coward the master. His most sadly beautiful and observant play. This production is marvellous. How rude to comment solely on a persons looks. You may think it, but so sad that those who could not just enjoy the play felt the need to say it. This play in compasses class. Those that made cruel remarks about the leading lady, have none!
The title of the song that is playing is " Someday I'll Find You"- which Noel Coward wrote himself and serves as a leitmotif for the play! Best Wishes....MrBazzabee
Thank you for this great version of the play, Penelope Keith is one of our great comedic actresses. I thought Victor was brilliant, and Sybil's hysteria was...hysterical!
Trying to explain who Noel Coward was to younger people is hopeless. Like scuba diving without flippers on your feet. "He wrote this, he wrote that, he appeared in this fabulous film or this other." They've not heard of any of it. What's more, they have no interest in discovering films that were produced before their earliest memories.
